1) The government creates or exploits a problem blaming it on others
2) The people react by asking the government for help willing to give up their rights
3) The government offers the solution that was planned long before the crisis

The average person just isn't up to speed

A retired international candy maker consultant was complaining about his Medicare Part "D" (Prescriptions). He can count and knew he was getting screwed and how come the government didn't get it right ? I told him the government let the pharmaceutical companies write "Plan "D". He was in total disbelief.

A mature relative of mine (not a kook) who is in grocery management surprised me by saying there is so much stuff floating around the INTERNET he doesn't pay any attention.

Not to mention a mechanical engineer, former air force jet fighter pilot, 25+ years AA pilot told me Ron Paul is a kook.

I just had a Republican friend in Honolulu tell me, it is just what he needs to hear - a kook when I sent him this video posted on dailypaul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v5gzgxe8X8

Being up to speed when everyone isn't - is not good !

Some recent examples:

2008 bank bailouts:

Problem: Banks unable to loan money for business payroll, college tuition, etc.

Reaction: Banks need help.

Solution: Congress authorizes over $700B for bank bailout. (which was the intention all along of those who created the crisis)

Global Warming:

Problem: Earth is warming, ice caps are melting, Polar bears are losing their homes

Reaction: Something needs to be done about emissions.

Solution: Cap and Trade. As if the Patriot Act didn't rob us of enough of our freedoms, now the powers that be want to add insult to injury by regulating America into oblivion and eliminate the few jobs that still remain in this country..

Iran's Election and Demonstrations

Problem: Some Iranians are led to believe the elections were fixed and demonstrate in the streets of Iran. Which leads to some deaths and injuries..

Reaction: 24/7 worldwide coverage---something needs to be done.

Solution: Well the powers that be haven't quite perfected or obtained the desired results yet for their intended goal...to sway US public opinion and make Americans more receptive to a US invasion of Iran.

Cyber-Attacks

Problem: Several government agencies have been victims of cyber attacks.

Reaction: Something needs to be done.

Solution: Sen. Rockefeller's legislation S 773 Cybersecurity Act of 2009.

I'm sure you get the picture by now. Manipulation has been kicked into high gear.
