Why Jesse Ventura has REAL chance at the Presidency....
According to the Pew Research Center, residents (like that term?) are:
- 39% Independent
- 33% Democrat
- 22% Republican
It seems there is a huge untapped pool of voters.
It comes down to 3 key States:
1) winning Iowa
2) winning New Hampshire
3) winning South Carolina
Here is what a WIN would look like:
The NEWS out of those STATES must be He WON.
Republican votes for Mitt Romney -- 9,000
Republican votes for Huckleberry -- 12,000
Republican votes for Palin --- 18,000
Total Republican Votes = 29,000
Democrat votes for Obama -- 39,000
Independent Votes for Ventura -- 41,979
VENTURA.... WINS....IOWA !!!!!
Get it?
Then it comes down to getting LOTS and LOTS of TV time BEFORE the Iowa Race... and to get TV time you must wave your BIG WALLET around MSM's nose...
To get TV time, we in the movement discovered the MSM watches who has the money. Of course that is perfectly rational since MSM will be the ones to get most of that money via advertising dollars.
We learned via our November 5th Money Bomb the power of $100.
We learned from the 2007 Ron Paul Campaign to do all the marketing Campaigning ourselves, & just let the Candidate speak.
And if we learned from our biggest mistake and thus biggest lesson, ......WE MUST MONEY BOMB our choice well BEFORE the Iowa Primary. Nov 5th was 5 months to late.
Doing this will grab MSM TV attention, will make our choice a "front runner to beat", and make it very hard for anyone else to catch up to our snowball.
So, Lets agree to CHOOSE our guy or girl for 2012 ten solid months BEFORE the Iowa Primary. That date would be....(any suggestions for a good Money Bomb date?)
Most of all, we should MONEY BOMB the R3volution itself......that way, who ever we choose, that person will dance to our tune.
Personally, I like Jesse Ventura..... I think he's "the one".

Can't stand him
I truly hope he doesn't run because he will split liberty lovers in two. He is far too hostile to religion and those who want an end to illegal immigration. That makes up a big part of the freedom movement.

Between Jesse and who? Ron Paul has said he will not run 2012.
Jesse is the only one I know who says he's up for the job.
2nd, You know I agree with you on the immigration thing...or agree with Ron Paul's position. I also agree that they, the govt, cannot just make the LEGAL number of farm labor from Mexico be ZERO, thus creating the whole dam problem in the first place over 30 years ago.
But one thing I like about Jesse, he walked into 10,000 people strong, who were with Ron Paul on the Immigration issue, and said to our faces, HIS opinion on not being afraid of "little brown people" and ashamed American is "building our own Berlin Wall"..... Now that took guts.... REAL guts. That also tells you that he will not turn himself into a pretzel in order suck up to a voting block...even a popular one such as the anti-illegal alien group. You saw McCain do that, didn't that make you sick? I cannot stand that in a Politician, and this is why I like Jesse.
That is the kind of GUTS that Ron Paul showed in Miami when he told the Cuban American audience that YES we should open up trade and end the embargo on Cuba because it hasn't done freedom any good.... (recall that McCain just laughed at Paul as Paul got booed...that is one 'brave war hero'--NOT). McCain and the others will SAY what you WANT to hear.
I give Jesse a lot.... A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT... for NOT telling us on that big night what we WANTED to Hear. Oh he knew Ron Paul's position on immigration and he know how the CFL audience felt about it, but he SAID IT ANYWAY.
That is the kind of President that will tell the American people via Larry King "I am not sure how those buildings came down, it all looks fishy to me....." I am hopeful that he would be the kind of President to say to the Israeli-American lobby, "Go f*ck yourself -- End those settlements or not one dam dime from American Taxpayers... I will veto every foreign aid bill coming your way Israel, get it? End those Settlements and make peace with the Palestinians."
So that goes a long way with me. Libertarians like him, but he does not like libertarians.... he has his own opinions... and I like that.

I like Jesse and hope he runs. But I like Ron Paul a whole lot more. I would like to see a Paul/Ventura ticket. I don't know if that would help or hurt Paul but it would wake a lot of people up.
BTW, has anyone noticed how Ventura shakes his head a lot? Wondering if there is an illness or an old injury that causes this

I'm pretty sure I've heard him say he never would.....
Independents don't have a primary system - they just have to spend all their time and energy getting on the ballot by jumping through hoops and gathering rediculous amounts of signatures - it varies widely state to state.
November 5th wasn't too late, what the campaign did with it however was spend it too late - they acted like they were never going to get another dollar after that. If they had spent it before Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina...well the idea is that you win a race or two and gain more support, and money follows success......McCain's campaign was broke and going into debt spending everything they could on New Hampshire media.....
I'm not sold on anyone being "the one" I do like Ventura, but its far too early....what if Rand Paul wins the senate seat in Kentucky and becomes wildly popular?.....or Rj Harris, Kokesh, or someone else not yet on the radar from our movement becomes adored by the public and seen as the next JFK?..........the future of the liberty movement has alot in store for it...but getting everyone to coalesce behind one candidate years away from an election just isnt going to happen....and picking one without a vote is antithetical to freedom.

There certainly CAN BE an Independant Voter VOTE taken
on the night of the Caucus Primaries. And the beauty of it is that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party HAS NO SAY in it.
Its called FREEDOM and we are FREE to do this.... the Question is, will we in the R3VOLution get off the couch? We got our own Blimp, We got our own Freeway Signs, and we can get our own Independent PRIMARY.
What's stopping us?

It's way to early for presidential speculation in my opinion....Ventura could get eaten by a shark surfing at Todos Santos between now and then for that matter....
I'm looking for liberty representatives here in north florida I can work for to help get elected in 2010.....

but he is not that close to Ron Paul on the issues.

Take a wait and see approach until we have a lot more candidates running.
The most important target is the Senate, lets take it back and have all our candidates run on our own media to counter-act CNN entertainment......The Senate is filled with corruption.

but do not be surprised if Ron Paul would be willing to be VP, just to avoid the massive headache of the Presidency....and do not be surprised if Jesse's ego is so big he "can't" be a VP.
So, while we want a Paul/Ventura ticket, those two may actually want a Ventura/Paul ticket.
