Patriots Rand Paul Adam Kokesh Peter Schiff Harris Vasovski are starting to get their name out there among the voting public and now perhaps we can add a few other names to make this *Clean The House* revolution gather momentum.

I'd hate to be a disappointment
Cannabis has been a long time issue for me. Since 1992, ironically, the same year UN Agenda 21: Sustainable Development was signed into law by Clinton.
I believe some of the best places to actually do things is on the board of supervisors. Congress, Senate, these jobs are for those born into politics, or groomed from a very young age.
As a Granger, one reason I joined, I live in an unincorporated area, so The Grange allows me to write resolutions, petitions and work on issues close to home.
I admit, I hate the word marijuana. The struggle for decriminalization has given me a HUGE education politically. My county, mendocino is very political. Medical marijuana is legal. It is illegal to grow GM food crops. We have defeated Pacific Power and Gas, twice from constructing wave generators, nuclear power, we have stopped oil drilling (which we have a number of cottage industries dependent on the surf, salt, sea vegetables and more, we have defeated the Navy from test sonar and bombing here.
Right now, healthcare is the BIG issue and while no one on Daily Paul is working on Ron Pauls Healthcare http://www.ronpaul.com/2009-05-25/ron-paul-introduces-free-c..., I am.
What I would like is a board of supervisors job and that way, I can educate and wake up the "useful idiots" to the UN Agenda 21, and put in more Freedom 21 http://freedom21.org/conf/2009/con-09.html
I thank you again Legalizeliberty for the kind thought, including me in one who does more than make posts, but an activist whose not heard the fat lady sing.

I ran for Board of
I ran for Board of Supervisors and lost by 26 votes, even though I had only lived here 1.5 yrs. I agree that this is the most important position for people to run for. It is totally doable. All you have to do is get started early, do your marketing well, and avoid mistakes. I failed at two of these areas. But came real close because I walked my entire district. I simply ran out of time, combined with a few mistakes I made, I lost. I encourage as many of you as possible to run for Board Of Supervisors. As an added bonus it usually pays pretty well!!!

I learned allot about "insider" politics at The Grange Halls, where I can meet 400 "neighbors" on a Sunday morning pancake breakfast who are more receptive than crossing the "No Trespassing" signs to meet them.
I wore a Ron Paul for president apron for a year and had allot of folks ask, "Who is Ron Paul?" Our sheriff really impressed me when he said, "I really like Ron Paul and wish he could be elected."

Nystrom vs. Mr. Cap-n-Trade?
I live in the same town as Michael, met him once a couple years ago. I'd help him get elected if he ran.
Problem is our rep is Ed Markey, Mr. Cap-n-Trade himself. He's all about saving the environment, and people around here eat that up like pigs at the trough. Seriously, our local state senator (NOT MARKEY) was caught dressed up as a bum trying to grope random women on the street a few towns over, ran from the police on foot, and cried like a baby when he was caught, and people around here were defending him because he's so dedicated to saving the planet. It was a great story, it even involved an overturned hot dog cart. But I digress...
I don't know anything else about Markey... well, he votes for bailouts I guess. And wars.
Unless Michael can either 1) convince the populace he's not a republican and a better defender of the environment than Markey, or 2) transplant his home elsewhere, he's got little chance of gaining significant votes.
