Action needed against Illegal Immigration

Thanks to friend of the Constitution Party, Janet Renner, Founder of Missourians Against Illegal Immigration, for sending the following action information:

According to NumbersUSA, the Senate passed 4 amendments to the DHS Appropriations bill, H.R. 2898. These were:

1) The Sessions amendment to permanently reauthorize E-Verify and mandate its use by all government contractors and subcontractors.

2) The DeMint Amendment to force DHS to complete the 700 miles of border fencing which has already been approved and funded.

3) The Vitter amendment to force the Social Security Admin to continue their "No-Match" program (DHS Sec. Napolitano recently ended this program)

4) and the Grassley amendment to allow all businesses that use E-Verify to run all of their current employees through the E-Verify system."

There's a problem though. It's called R-O-P-E - Reid-Obama-Pelosi-Emanuel. What this means is that since these people can't have their way publicly, they'll try to kill the amendments above behind closed doors in their Conference Committee that will finalize the bill before it goes to Obama for signature.

We need to do this by the end of today Monday, July 13.

Here are the basic talking points to Pres. Obama:

"I expect you to instruct your staff to refrain from gutting immigration enforcement during the Conference Committee process on the DHS appropriations bill. . ...

In March, your people conspired with Speaker Pelosi and Leader Reid to kill the House E-Verify provisions. And you did it behind closed doors, without explanation. That isn't going to work again this time.

The nation's eyes will be on whether or not you condemn hundreds of thousands of unemployed Americans to joblessness because you overturn the Senate's enforcement amendments this week, which will be opening up hundreds of thousands of jobs otherwise held by illegal aliens."
