Palin's letter in Washington Post

I would be quite surprised if she wrote the letter herself. She has money, staff, and probably good writers. Every politician has writers on board. Reagan had top writers. I think the only politician who wrote his own stuff was JFK, and he was often brilliant.

When the brains were passed around poor Sarah was at the end of the line. If she has an original thought worth hearing, then that is news to me. Her interview with Katie Couric shows that she's a fast-talking airhead.

If she succeeds in politics it will further demonstrate how far we, as a nation, have sunk.

It feels to me as if many in this forum are desperately grabbing at phantom straws. There are many who have built a solid track record in their writing over many years, in their speeches over years, their activism for freedom.

Along come this media construct with one article and people are ready to crown her Miss Liberty. No. Her track record is poor, her past performance dismal, her allegiance murky.

We can do far better. If she has had an epiphany and is truly sold on liberty she'll have the opportunity to build a solid body of work to be judged by. It's not there now. She'd be another candidate like Bob Barr, a fair-weather "libertarian" at best, when it serves a politician's personal ambition.

We know the "republican" side of the media is still very suppressed to make it look like they are on the sleeping sheeeples side(us awakened ones smell bullshit). The "republican" side of the media only says enough to make it seem like there is opposition, Sarah Palin, I believe took it all the way, and realized what is going on, and got the axe. We welcome you to the R3volution Sarah Palin, but we will be watching you like a hawk the whole entire time so don't get funky.

Maybe we should call her office and ask if she was interested in coming in our side!

It is good and proper to respect the U.S. flag, perpetuated with the blood of American heroes. It is a fatal mistake not to recognize those who wrap themselves in the same flag to cover up their crimes against the American people.
