Beck Interview
I hope he does this. They'll try and get him fired up, like in the old days. But Dr. Paul's message is built on integrity, so I think he'll pwn him. But watch for Beck to pose dozens of "nightmare" scenarios.
One other thing - Is the blimp really a good idea? It could turn into a liability more than a promotion. It sort of leaves him vulnerable to a false flag operation.

Glenn Beck
Glenn Beck may disagree with someone but he treats them fairly. Ron needs to get on his show.
Glenn actually sounds like Ron more than just about any other mainstream media figure. (Some days he sounds like Ron Paul on steroids)
There is a huge Mormon following for Beck, most people don't realize how closely Mormon Doctrine coincides with Ron's message. (We are the only church with scripture warning us of corrupt government). A interview like this could be a breakthrough for those who have not heard Dr. Paul's stance.
As an LDS member I could in no way support Romney.
I will continue to campaign for Ron but will be very disappointed if he doesn't accept this invitation.
I say go for it.
For the longest time we've said Ron Paul talking is the best advertisement. Well let's go then.
I agree
Why the campaign has not commented on this is beyond me. Maybe they are hoping this will die down and nobody will bring it up anymore. This is insanty.
If they do.... that will be a mistake...
A HUGE mistake. It is possible that they are actually talking with Beck's people and working it out and do not want to comment before then.
Somehow, I have a vey bad feeling in the pit of my stomach about this. I can almost hear the campaign tell Dr. Paul that he doesn't need to do it, that we won't go anywhere, and that he is too important for Beck now...
That is my pessimistic side though... My optimistic side is telling me that they will say something on Monday. This is, to most of us, about a billion times more important than the bad commercial which they issued an immediate appeasement (in the form of the second commercial).
I will be calling the campaign tom. to once again stress the importance. This is the first time I have ever felt something to be that important with the campaign. They need to tell us what their plans are in order to quiet our fears, which is where the irritation really comes from.

GLENN BECK
DEAR DR.RON PAUL
PLEASE ACCEPT GLENN BECK'S INVITATION AND ANSWER THE 10QUESTION.COM QUESTIONS AS SOON AS YOU CAN.
THE WORLD NEEDS YOU TO BE US-PRESIDENT AND I BELIEF, THAT WITH BECK ON YOUR SIDE YOUR(OUR)CHANCES HUNDRED-FOLD.
I say Ron Paul should do it
I say Ron Paul should do it and let some hot air of this fatboys head!

Status
O.K. Paul Campaign, what's the status of this?
It would be great exposure and I agree with Glenn. I'd like to see Paul get more than 15 - 30 seconds to discuss where he stands on issues instead of giving soundbites. It's time to re-educate America.
Beck would be bigger then the View
And the reason is because most of Beck's audience is republican!! We need the republican vote! Beck needs us more then we need him? That is insane. Dr. Paul is 5th in NH and 5th in Iowa! We need exposure! Do you want him elected or not? If his staff does not allow him on then they are fools!! So instead of letting Dr. Paul go on a show where millions of republicans watch they are gonna keep sending me e-mails asking for more money? brilliant. His staff needs to relize he is not running for congress in Texas this time. He is running for President of the United States!! I used to be a neo con. Whatever Rush and Hannity said I believed and never questioned it. I remember watching the South Carolina debate and hearing Dr. Paul say "they are attacked us b/c we are over there! we've been bombing them for 10 yesrs!" i could not believe my ears. And I clapped and cheered when Rudy put him in his place! I thought "what an idiot! I can't wait until this fool drops out." Then about a week later a friend bought me the book Imperial Hubris. I always wanted to be in the CIA and my friend knew it. I also really looked up to Michael Scheuer. After half way through it hit me! "OMG, that ron Paul guy was right!" After that I looked up the campaign and started to see where he felt on the issues. And after that I became a supporter. There are MILLIONS of people just like me out there...Neo Cons!! They are waiting to be inspired like I was! And after seeing Dr. Paul on Glenn Beck they will change their minds just like I did!!! Dr. Paul will not win unless he gets more exposure!! HE NEEDS THIS!!
If my voice means anything here...
I think that Dr. Paul should definitely go on this show. The media exposure alone is worth a small fortune (well, at least to me). Heck, as it is Dr. Paul gets more donations in an average day (no, i didn't do the math) than I can get a home loan for :/, but this can only increase his presence around the country.
We must remember, even if Glenn were to rail against him through the whole show, the Face-time is IMPORTANT
Dr Paul will continue to get
Dr Paul will continue to get my support and money, if he does the show or if he doesn't do the show. Personally, I couldn't spend an hour with Beck over a cold beer. I gave up on him long ago, just as I did Riley, Rush and Hannity. If I can trust Ron Paul to be the next president (trust that I haven't had for any president since JFK), then I can certainly trust his judgement on this. I'm stunned that so many of you would base your support for this wonderful man on Glenn 'bleeping' Beck. Ron Paul is not running for president because of ambition, he's putting his life on the line for us. And he IS putting his life on the line. Maybe most of you are just to young to remember JFK, MLK and RFK. Attitudes like some post here makes me wonder if America's worth saving, but then I look at the Ron Paul supporters around me and know, yes it is.
You are incorrect...
IMO... I personally have trusted the campaign's judgement on everything, and I do believe that they will make the right choice.
But quite frankly, and I am no casual supporter, if he doesn't take full advantage of every opportunity including this and Chris Mathews invitation for an hour than it means either he has hired incompetents in his campaign and it is not worth pursueing or he doesn't really want to win and it isn't worth pursuing.
I would still vote for the man either way, but I would stop sending money and spending my time.
I am an introvert. I dislike engaging strangers. I dislike being in unusual and unfamiliar social situations. I also happen to be working on repairing certain financial issues. And yet, despite all of this, I do the things required of me on a regular basis.
Now, if for some reason, he won't make that leap and do what's required of him, then my motivation will be gone to continue sacrificing myself.
The fact is, THIS is how he wins. I am not here JUST to build a movement, but to see him elected.

You say I'm incorrect but
You say I'm incorrect but you don't say why. What am I incorredt about? That I'll continue my support for Dr. Paul if he doesn't do the show? " But quite frankly, and I am no casual supporter", what does that mean? On Nov 5th I think about 33,000 donated. Were they all "casual supporters"? I first heard Dr Paul on short wave radio in 1984 (The
William Cooper Show) and I've followed him ever since. I'm a Vietnam vet that lost everything (financial and health wise) a few years ago when I was rear ended at a stop sign by someone on a cell phone. I give him 5% of my $850 disability check each month. I just cut one of my meds in half. On Nov 5 I cut 4 of them in half and will cut all 6 in half on Dec 16. I'm doing this because Iraq is another Vietnam (my youngest son just returned for there 6 months ago, physcially ok but he'll never forget what he saw and what he did, 44 years later and I haven't.), The Military Commissions Act (which does away with habeas corpus), Presidental Directive 21 (which gives Bush dictatoral powers), the Supreme Courts review of the 2nd amendment and The North American Union. Ron Paul is the ONLY person who can save this country from some very difficult times and I will gladly do everything I can to see him elected. I just wish I could give more and that I could get out of the house and knock on doors. You better believe that each trip to the hospital I'm loaded with Ron Paul hand outs and I talk about him to everyone I meet. I TRUST Ron Paul and his judgement.
I agree %100
you're right on the money.
I'd say this is worth an hour of Dr Pauls time
How do we get him on the show now?
Slipped in undetected. But your volley of words were fast as shit.
Charles Goyette VS Glenn Beck
Now that is a really good show... Treg

Beck thinks he'll do a hatched job on Paul
He thinks he is some kind of hero for Mitt Romney.
Ron Paul does not need Beck.
Beck needs Paul.
If Beck wants to bring up the issue of the FBI, the CIA and other security matters, he should contact Charles Goyette, radio Libertarian personality in Phoenix Arizona.
Beck would not, could not, ever get the best of Charles because Charles is used to pundints like Beck. Charles knows his history, knows his principles and knows exactly the war arguments of the NeoCons.
Lets all tell BECK to invite Charles Goyette (google him)..... Beck can have a rockus debate with Charles, Dr. Paul is too much the gentlemen intellectual to get into the mud slinging that will no doubt occur over any issue Beck disagrees with. He is a nasty arguer.
Who knows, Charles may prove himself so popular that Becks own listeners will want Charles to have his own show.

Exactly...
I, myself, am a reformed NeoCon leaning Republican. I voted for the Bush guy twice (to my shame). Dr. cured not only my apathy, but also my NeoConitis.

Ron Paul does not need you Glenn Beck.
But if you wish to learn, then have Charles Goyette on the full hour, he will educate you.....obviously Pat Buchannan did not teach you, but Charles Goyette can teach you real well.
Ron Paul can't be bothered with a smirky smart ass like you. You say you agree with Ron Paul and his supporters on many issues, that is doubtful. How did you come to your opinions? Via principles of Life, Liberty and Property, ie individual rights of man? Doubtful....yet that is what the constitution was designed to protect.
Its been explained to you a thousand ways on Israel, Iraq, and the principle of nonintervention.... Ron Paul does not need to pass a limitus test with you.
Pundints like you are the problem in the USA. You attack intellectual argument with fart jokes, slaps stick, and smart ass remarks....as an argument back.
So Beck, go on Begging.

1 Hour!!!
This would be huge exposure and free. I hope RP takes advantages of the invite.
Ron will be on Glenn Beck
Ron will not pass up this Huge free oportunity this exposure is priceless.
Face it, If Ron Paul could not handle Beck it would be time to throw in the towel and cut losses. If Ron Passed on this it would be used against him and would be the end of the road anyways. I can't wait to see the show it will be worth recording.

Goethe
the campaign cannot afford not to
I get an e-mail every two weeks telling me to send money. The last e-mail had a panic theme that said "Only 900 hours until the primaries!!" And every time I get one of these e-mails I reach in my pocket and give some money. But money can only go so far. Look at Huckabee. He is not even close to the kind of cash Dr. Paul has but he is 2nd in Iowa and now 4th in NH. You need exposure just as much as you need cash. Like him or hate him you have to admit Beck has an audience. If this campaign is serious about getting Ron Paul elected they have to let him go on Beck. It is FOOLISH not to. Dr. Paul needs the exposure. If the campaign does not allow him to go they are either stupid or don't really care Dr. Paul winning. I'm doing my best to support Ron Paul. I donate money, have a yard sign up, I have a bumper sticker, and when this school semester is over with I’m going to volunteer at my local campaign HQ. If the staff does not allow Dr. Paul to go on then they are not doing their best to get him elected.
I agree
This is an excellent opportunity to get his message out. I tend to believe the same folks that watch and listen to Beck probably gravitate towards Hannity and Limbaugh.
I don't usually watch Beck, but caught a re-broadcast from 11/8 last night on the ciaos in Laredo Texas with Mexican drug lords.
This would be a golden opportunity for Dr. Paul to speak on securing the border and more importantly, helping law enforcement in Laredo deal with with these thugs by calling in the National Guard.
We've had more people kidnapped in Laredo this year than Iranian hostages. The Zeta Mexican gang openly kills people on our streets. I can't believe this is happening in our own country.

We must see the Glen Beck Show as a soap box from which to spread our message of liberty and goodwill. If not for the good of the American people, then at least out of respect to all of the dedicated and hard work from our supporters.
Looks can be deciving
Ron Paul should jump on this and do it as soon as possible!
Could it be that Glenn Beck is a Ron Paul fan in disguise? I bet this will be better than the Jay Leno interview.
Even if Americans don't agree with him on all the issues, his overall appeal is his obviously apparent integrity.
Freedom, prosperity and peace is a powerful message!
Go Ron Go!
Ron Paul is Principled
Because Ron Paul is principled, he cannot be shown up because he will say what ever his principles are. I think Ron Paul could use this to draw a lot of attention while showing up beck.
yes, do it Ron
One hour and Ron might even convince neocon Glenn Beck we are not the Imperial States of America. It will be the most watched show on CNN ever.
Isn't this the guy that called us a bunch of fascists?
Even if it is, I'm thinking we need to get this to Dr. Paul's campaign. 1 hour of free airtime to someone who has lots of viewers is something Dr. Paul needs...
Finally!
That's great news. The people who approached him on his tour and were *kind* to Glen Beck might have had the impact we wanted. This will be great exposure for Ron Paul if he accepts. (please please accept)

Real Issues
Mr. Beck aspires to pride himself in seeking real truth and claiming to have a real care for America's soverignty. Dr. Paul has nothing to fear from this man even if Mr. Beck decides to grandstand.

You're absolutely right
You're absolutely right Ruth, it shouldn't be taken lightly. I'd like Dr. Paul to speak to that directly. Avoiding the show does more harm than good. By avoiding the show, we're basically let the statement stand. Remember, not everyone hits Internet Messageboards... we need to reach those that don't go this route. Let the message of freedom be heard from the man himself.
You were hurt and angered by the comments, we all were. Let's shake it off, and focus on winning this thing.
So what's the response from the Ron Paul campaign?
I have never known Ron Paul to back down from an interview opportunity. So what does the campaign have to say about this?
I'd love to see Ron Paul debate for an hour!
Ron Paul never skips a step
Look, I think unlike the quick 2 minutes Ron gets on O-Riley, Ron can expand on his ideas with Beck. The longer you give Ron to speak, the better he sounds because he'll be able to expand on his ideas. He's not locked into "getting the FBI or CIA" but can explain he's for intelligence gathering but that these agencies are bloated, ineffective, etc..
I think Ron will shine, email Ron Paul's campaign and get him on this show!!!
Ron Paul himself says he
Ron Paul himself says he doesn't lead this revolution, he's part of it. He relies on supporters like us to help make suggestions. I believe "leaving it to someone else" is the hands-off approach we SHOULD NOT take... especially this late in the game.
Again, I see nothing wrong with supporters writing the campaign and detailing why they believe it would be a good idea.
An excuse to boost ratings? Maybe? But who are we to pretend we know Mr. Beck's intentions.. I sure don't. What I do know is this.. it's another chance to get our message out. It's about winning the nomination more than trying to figure out every single pundit's secret intention.
and you don't think having
and you don't think having Ron Paul on to put these rumors to rest is a good idea? I understand your point about trust, however, it's been the story since the beginning. People been out to get Dr. Paul since Day 1. Nothing new to see here.
Our goal is to win.. that's it. Dr. Paul can handle himself just fine. There's still so many people that really don't know what Ron Paul is about. They don't spend hours on Internet Forums... they casually watch the debates. This is another avenue for us to explore.
I understand your point,
I understand your point, however, I see nothing wrong with a supporter outlining the reasons they believe it would be good for the campaign.
Just being a class act
Just being a class act doesn't win elections. If that was the case, we could all stop with the grassroots campaign and go back to our daily lives. Unfortunately, it doesn't work this way. His message is powerful, but needs to get out. There's still a large percentage of people that still don't know what Dr. Paul is about. At this point in the game, we have to take advantage of anything that can help get this message out.
You want Glenn Beck to clear up the issues? Great, let the man himself go on the show and do that for us.
I certainly appreciate your
I certainly appreciate your opinion, but respectfully disagree. Ron Paul needs to at least seriously consider EVERY possibly opportunity to get the word out. Who cares what Beck's intentions are... honestly, you'll never know and neither will I. What we do know is this... Ron Paul can handle himself just fine.
If we're still trying to get
If we're still trying to get our candidate elected, we should pursue all avenues which can gain additional exposure.
I'm with you my friend.
I'm with you my friend.
What does this matter? Our
What does this matter? Our only objective at this point is to win. One way of doing this is to gain larger exposure.
It's not about winning over
It's not about winning over Glenn Beck, it's a way to get his message out to a larger audience without having to speak in sound-bites. Dr. Paul is going to be our commander-in-chief, I think he can handle Mr. Beck.
This would be huge for us.
This would be huge for us.
Agreed
Agreed. Glen Beck has the #1 book on Amazon and the #1 book on the NY times best seller list. He obviously has the attention of a lot of people, hopefully Republicans that can be swayed. An appearance on Beck's show will target the very people Ron needs to persuade.

Glen Beck is rat poison, sweetness with enough to kill
I observed one of the mainstream media's recent attempts at deflating Dr. Paul's character by associating his campaign with the support of the owner of the Bunny Ranch, a legal house of prostitution in the state of Nevada. All of the women who have passed through this facility over the years plying their trade are in no way, shape, or form, as pure a whore as Glen Beck. His show last night (11-29-07) made me shower twice. This man is the STD of talking heads. Should Dr. Paul decide to go on this show he should wear a full surgical gown and mask in the presence of this virus. This time is ours.
I wasn't going to go this far publicly but...
If he doesn't take this opportunity, he will lose my support as well because of what that will mean.
It would mean either he doesn't really want to win or doesn't know how to win. And in either case, I would no longer feel a need to sacrifice so much.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't support the others either. I would then move myself fully into the Libertarian Party which I had planned to do after this race anyway.
I know it won't come down to that, because I know they will accept the offer. But to those of you who suggest he shouldn't take this, you really have no idea how many people have this exact same opinion.
I count on the fact that they read this and so will likely not send them an e-mail and cause them more work. But out of all the things that have come up, THIS is the only one in which I would feel justfied in doing so.
