Limbaugh: Palin Might Leave GOP For Third Party

Excellent article

Conclusion: Sarah Palin and Joe Scarborough are part of a much larger and very clever rebranding process that seems to be grass roots but in our estimation is being run by Republican power brokers. There are probably no accidents in politics as Franklin Delano Roosevelt famously said, and the current expansion of the "conservative" trend is no accident either. , It is not aimed at the Democrats, or even Barack Obama so much as it is aimed at controlling what such power brokers believe is truly dangerous Libertarian Republicans and Ron Paul.

The establishment probably

The establishment probably would order Palin to a third party to steal our well-meaning simpleton-Republican votes. We need those votes along with those of real liberty lovers in the GOP to beat the hardened neo-cons.

Then again, the only Palin supporters I ever met told me that terrorist cell groups in the U.S. were "everywhere," so what do I know.

The more people come out against her, the more I'm liking

her. Republicans and Democrats have been going after her. Friends of mine in Alaska say she has a much more libertarian slant then was let on during the campaign. I don't think she is as bad as alot of people make her out to be.

I Support Palin

Todd Palin, that is.

I listend to Limbaugh since 1992

Then I picked up Hannity after 9/11 when his radio show went national. I listened to these guys up until I woke up and joined the revolution. Wow what a contrast it was to see truth and then see these two clowns for what they really are. The way I see it is they only care about their ratings and their sponsors. The way Limbaugh ignored the revolution, and Hannity balked at the debates, and lied about the polling made me lose all faith and trust in them.
As far as Palin goes, she is a lighting rod for the left. I genuinely feel sorry for her for all of the terrible things said about her. What I don't know is if she is just looking for what's currently popular or if she really believes in what 'Ron Paul Republicans' believes. If she is a true believer then I welcome her.

Palin = Serious Joke

It is so easy to see. The Neo-Cons are waking up & seeing that Americans are not going to stand for an only 2-party system anymore; Especially since Dr. Paul came on the scene, is a serious contender, and everyone is asking for his input & waking up. A 3rd (at least) party is going to be viable and probably present in the next, if not the one after elections. This idiot Palin is being yanked & presented to infiltrate the 3rd party as a Neo-Con presence. Kinda like the Neo-Cons hijacking our Tea Parties - They televised the ones they wanted you to see, not the REAL ones we wanted to present. She's a Populist & her funding is strictly Neo-Con, NOTHING Old School Conservative. She's all for hand-outs (no matter what comes out of her uneducated mouth) & can see Georgia-Russia from her yard.
She's a JOKE - trying to enter this movement so the Neo-Cons have ground to stand on; Groomed, easy-on-the-eyes, & telling you EXACTLY what you want to hear.

***BTW --- WHO here gives a FLYING F*CK what that addict, fat-ass Limbaugh has to say??? The fact that he received the "Defender of the Constitution" award instead of Dr. Ron Paul verifies that the current GOP has it's head up it's ass and we have to get it back!!!***

In my area The Constitution party (CP) is getting

a number of defecting hardcore GOP into its membership, from my observations. Maybe we'll see some constitutional candidates in office this coming election.

I could go for this. We

I could go for this. We aren't getting Anarchy. Problem I have with most Republicans is they use terms like Liberty, Free-Market Capitalism, and Personal Responsibility like they were badges on their sleeves. Very few understand the true nature of Liberty, if they did .. they would be Libertarians. But I can say the same thing about most of the Lib crowd too.

Left is 9:00, Tyranny is 12:00, Right is 3:00, Anarchy is 6:00. The perfect position .. is right about 4:20.

4:20 yep..

Ever hear Sean Hannity use the word liberty?
Makes me cringe.

"I don't endorse anything they say"
~Ron Paul On the 911 Truth movement.

Of all the "conservative"

Of all the "conservative" talk show hosts I listen to, I like Hannity the best. I think he has a better understanding of Liberty than most people do in his line of work .. but he still trends slightly on the neo-con side. Mostly the reason why I like Hannity is he isn't quite as shock-jockish as some of the other hosts I listen to. I have XM radio cos I'm a truck driver so I pretty much listen to Beck, Wilkow, Hannity, and Levin.

I like Wilkow. He's such an arrogant elitist shit, he reminds of my best friend back home, plus he has great taste in music and beer. Hannity is just a darn nice guy.

"I like Hannity ... but he

"I like Hannity ... but he still trends slightly on the neo-con side."

I'm not going to put you down for listening to hannity, because as you are a truck driver it would be bad for you to lose so many hours of crucial entertainment. However, I have to tell you that I think Hannity has leaned so far over to that neo con side that he has been wallowing in it for 8 years.

I'm not disagreeing with

I'm not disagreeing with you. I don't agree with everything Hannity says. Believe me, I get more pissed off at Republicans than I do Democrats .. it seems they wear the words Liberty on their sleeves but don't fully understand what it means. But he's not totally clueless, and I do think hes a nice guy. The biggest problem I have with most Republicans is they think Liberty means you are free to do what you want to do, as long as it does no harm to anyone else, as long as it fits in certain guidelines.

Its like Liberty in a Box. I got really upset at him when he was talking about Michael Jackson. Mostly open minded and fair .. but then .. the selective choice words of condescension about how his was abnormal, strange, deviant .. like he believed that he didnt deserve to be aquitted and that the rule of law only applies when we agree with their judgements. And I'm not a big Jackson fan by any means, but to me .. he epitomized Liberty. He got to live the life he wanted to do and we have no direct evidence that he caused any direct harm to anyone else.

He also made a comment a few weeks ago about how he wouldnt mind a CIA hit squad being sent over to Iran ...

He has good days and bad days. I tell ya I really wish I could get Boortz on XM.

We must be careful...

I would not put it past the criminals to create a candidate to hijack the freedom movement. They may try and create a man that appears to be the new "George Washinton" a real "Ron Paul" kind of guy. Then, when the plant is a rising star and gaining traction...they take him down in a scandel. There will be shenannagans.....

*a survivor of Dick Cheney's death squad*

Try every trick in the book.....

...And see where it gets you. We won't believe in false prophets like Palin or any of these other hooligans. As long as we don't believe in them, they can't lead, only follow.....

Forest for the trees.

Limbaugh and the likes could get 20-30% of GOP voters to switch

I know because I have family who listen to these guys, and they are very dedicated to TRUSTING these people. It makes me sick to my stomach, because I know Limbaugh is a big government sellout. He may ACT and say the right things, but the people he supports always screw us, intentionally.

The only guest host I like on Limbaugh's show is Jason Lewis and Mark Steyn who have most of their braincells connected.

A good portion of the GOP voting block adores Palin, even with her many flaws, so the party would not be too difficult to split. Plus, the media wants to see the GOP done and over with.

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

My (rapidly depreciating) two cents

I used to think the GOP was split in half with half neocons and half paleocons.

Now I think it's half neocon, half paleocon and half democrat-lite.

Now we have to split the DNC into 1/3 minority appeaser, 1/3 labor and 1/3 eco-phobe and pit them all agaqinst each other.

with a 6 party system, we stand a REAL chance!

I'm surprised by some of the

I'm surprised by some of the responses, but perhaps it is simply a knee-jerk reaction to different labeling than we are used to here in America. This article comes from The Daily Bell, an excellent news source for libertarian economic thought based out of Switzerland. When he says "conservative", substitute "neo-con".

What the author is saying is that this current move by Sarah Palin is simply an attempt by the neo-cons to hijack the real libertarian movement by making Palin appear to be an independent reformer. The author is basically warning people not to fall for the trick.

I read The Daily Bell on a nearly daily basis, and they are very outspoken supporters of Ron Paul. When he says that Libertarian Republicans and Ron Paul are dangerous, it is a very good thing because we are dangerous to the neo-con establishment.

Let's not shoot our own here, people.

I just can't give her that

I just can't give her that much credit or RP people are that low in their IQ.
She is a joke.

nailed it

thank you.

fun read but pointless

The responses to this tripe are well done.

I find this sentence appalling funny:
"Conservative Republicans are not strongly against the current central banking economy and are favorably disposed to project America's militarism abroad and to the Homeland Security apparatus domestically."

Questionable grammar aside, this sentence really tells the whole story. Allow me to translate:
Line 1: Neocons love central planning; it can print war funds on demand
Line 2: Neocons love starting wars and building the empire
Line 3: Neocons love the PATRIOT Act and the stupidity of the DHS

As much as I dread Obama's unabashed socialist agenda, I think we are better off now getting this out of the way. If McCain (aka Obama-lite) had won, we would just continue sliding into the authoritarian abyss. Now hopefully the 2010/2012 backlash can put us back on the constitutional course.

This article is important..

...because it is very telling as what kind of tactics we are going to face. If this writers claim of "rebranding" to out flank the Ron Paul wing, then we had better to work figuring out what we are going to do about it. If this is the case, it is very telling because it says that the Neocons are very afraid of losing their grip on the Republican Party, and that we actually do have a real chance of retaking it and bringing it back to more of the old right positions of Barry Goldwater for example. However, if we do not take these hints and warnings seriously, then we may. fall prey to this flanking manuever.

The only caveat I can think of is that this article is all commentary based on conjecture. There's no real backing or proof. For those that held hopes of bringing Palin into the fold, this article puts a more sobering face on those chances.

This articles claim, if true, is not a gun pointed at the Democrats heads. It's pointed at ours.

I look for Palin....

to cash in on her popularity. I believe she will soon be hosting a Faux News program of her own. She will pocket millions...then she will jump backinto politics in 2012. Follow the money my friends...

I believe Palin is a NeoCon...although I am happy to be plesantly surprised if that should happen. Paul / Palin might be a popular ticket in 2012...but she needs to undergo major changes in her positions on war and spending.

can't limbaugh leave, instead?

im not a particular fan of palin, but i'll take her over mccain, limbaugh, or any of the other knuckle-heads, any day.

She will do more Harm than Good

Palin, please stay away from our Revolution. That is unless you want to come out and call the Republican party what it truly has become.

Even then, she is tainted thanks to SNL, and the brain dead masses will suck up whatever damaging propaganda they turn her way.

No, Palin just should stay away. We have plenty of fresh new blood to support.
