How Important is Rand Paul's Money Bomb on Aug 20th? Read

Here is just a sample of just how important it is and that we all must take seriously the Aug. 20th Rand Paul Money Bomb. This is a report on the fundraising for this race so far and Rand of course is not mentioned. He's raised only approximately $130,000.

Rand Paul must raise $1 Million in order to be a contender in this race. We may not be able to afford it, but we damn sure can't afford not to see to it that he does! If he does the game changes dramatically in a move and momentum toward Rand Paul.

I think raising 100K would be a better goal.
This million dollars goal is way to high although nice to imagine.

chump change! $1 million should be a no brainer. the problem we have is that we are not as organized as we think we are. think about this basic math:
130K C4L members (last i heard)
x$10 / member
=$1.3 million in one day
we need dedication to each money bomb that C4L sponsors. whether it's for Rand, Adam, Peter, RJ, or the next Ron Paul republican. people would easily give a lousy $10 to every money bomb if they felt confident that their fellow C4L members would do the same. think of the power we could exercise if we simply "organized." i dont know the legalities of C4L endorsing candidates, but their website doesn't even have a link to this money bomb on the front page. do all C4L members check out the dailypaul? i reckon not.
people shouldn't feel pressured to give a $100 bones every time a money bomb is announced. we have a long way to go to make the changes we hope to create. i'm talking about years. how many out there can give $100 bones for each candidate currently running and into the future? its time for everyone to pull their own weight by pitching in $10 instead of only 10% giving $100.
the silent majority maybe waking up slowly to the bad things happening...but they are yet to break away from the two party system. most people i talk to still dont know who Ron Paul is. its unbelievable!
bottom line: C4L has the power to make a difference, but that difference can only be made if its members contribute incrementally and consistently. money talks.

The race is being decided right now in the media, they decide who to report on based on how much money someone raises. The media reports on the viable candidates and the people start picking their favorites. It's all about the money, the issues seem to be irrelevant at this point in the race.
