Responding to numerous requests, I have tentatively arranged for a reprint of my book Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution (2d rev. ed. 2002).

In light of the current and accelerating meltdown of America’s monetary and banking systems, this book is more timely, and should prove more useful to public officials, public-policy
analysts, attorneys, economists, historians, and patriots in general, than ever before.

This will be a first-class reprint of the original two-volume, 1,722+ page, hardbound and Smyth-sewn edition, protected during delivery in shrinkwrap. It will be produced by one of the
premier book printers in the United States.

I’m user #4? Christ; amazing. You know, this site has accomplished much sense you created it; more than you will ever know, for sure. It became a public service; and the information here, in its relatively positive tone has severed to shine a light on some very dark pathways.

Perhaps most important, is that many of the concepts presented at the Daily Paul allowed people to comprehend that ‘the system’ doesn’t actually work the way we inherently believe it does. What folks do with that information is a personal journey, of course, but at least they have the chance to strive toward higher understandings – if they possess and cultivate, the will to doubt.

Although much light has been shined on the shady corridors and shadowy steps, I’m remain convinced we are buying the stairway to hell.

I have a pieces of eight coin

It was the first silver coin of the colonies.. It has an original "chop" mark where someone would actually chop into it to make sure it was silver. It could then be chopped into pieces of silver hence "pieces of eight"

How could having this book benefit me? Is it just a reference book, or does it hold hidden knowledge previously kept from me? May sound like a joke, but I'm serious. 1700 pages, what in the world is in it?

Don't buy it. so there will be an extra copy for me.

Do you not take any Federal Reserve Notes? 99.99% of us still take some Federal Reserve Notes. You can't pay your mortgage, pay for gas, and other essentials NOW without using Federal Reserve Notes. Dr. Vieira and Ron Paul are doing more to change this system now then probably anyone else out there today. By the way Ron Paul wrote the forward to this book, Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution. Edwin Vieira wrote the ,Gold and Silver Coin and Electronic Currency bill for NH. Six States took that Bill and introduced it into there States. The only reason they haven't passed one in the States yet is we need a mass grassroot movement behind this. We need activists not spectators and critics sitting on the sidelines, whining and complaining.

from Americans. I think it was 1933. Every citizen was required to turn in their gold, and if they didn't they could go to prison for ten years.

That made me think back to 1975 or so, when they announced on the radio that most of the gold in Fort Knox was missing. Nobody ever said where it went or why, or who took it, but just that it was missing.

I sometimes think about that.

Must have been the greatest gold heist in history I'd say.

fascinating to listen to. He's our most pre-eminent Constitutional scholar and knows a tremendous amount about our Colonial life and history, even pre-revolutionary. We are very, very lucky to have him. I have his book Constitutional Homeland Security and it's not dry, it's very interesting! You can learn so much from this man!

I've been trying to get this book for years and have been unable to find an affordable copy. If any bookseller ever even has it, it's $800. You should get it while you can. Edwin Vieira was in America: Freedom to Fascism and Fiat Empire. Watch those two videos and you'll see how absolutely brilliant this guy is.
