Gary Clift for Congress 10th District CA - 2009
Special Election Starts in 16 days!

I've talked to Gary over facebook recently and will post more information at the website below. Californian's need to support him. He will be a real constitutional conservative who we can agree with.

We should donate or plan to assist in his campaign in some way.

UPDATE: I spoke to Gary on the phone today with Mike Shanklin. He is a super nice fellow. He was very clear on his positions.

- Does not like the Iraq war
- Does not like nation building
- Considers himself a constitutionalist before a Republican
- Cares deeply about the erosion of civil liberties

He is also very well spoken on the phone. Mike Shanklin is working to get him on Freedom Watch in the near future to help his cause.

Can anyone help get Gary on Revolution Broadcasting, Coast to Coast AM, Alex Jones Radio, or any other media outlet?

Gary needs to get as much media coverage as he can before early voting starts August 1st....and help promoting his July 31st MoneyBomb.....

Or anyone for that matter - have an inside connection to the Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Adam Kokesh, Peter Schiff campaigns?.....A co-event with any of these in Clift's district (or someone else...Aimee Allen, etc...) would be a huge boost for his campaign, and a great launching pad for liberty candidates in 2010 if Clift pulls out a win here....

We have scheduled it for my birthday on July 31st, giving us a little over a week to begin using the money to spread our message to those who are voting absentee (August 3rd).

We have a real chance in this election because it is a special election and turnout is expected to be extremely low in the primary. Furthermore, because this is a special election, Democrats, Libertarians, and all registered voters can vote for me in the Republican Primary.

Please vote up! He already has quite a bit of support and is ranked 17th to get on the show. Come on DPERS, make this happen and listen to him on freedom watch in the upcoming weeks. He has 518 votes so far, probably needs another 300-400 at least.

Mike Shanklin - the libertarian activist who is also a friend of mine is trying his best to get Gary on the show for something we can get done now. No waiting for 2010, or 2012, this is something we can do now.

Absentee voting starts Aug 3rd, ballot voting is on Sept 1st

The reason we are pushing so hard to get support for absentee voting is that in the last special election for this district absentee voting more than doubled regular ballot voting. So while the election isnt over until Sept 1st, the election will be won by absentee voting a month before then. With the dedication of the liberty movement across the nation for this special election, we can win this low turnout election. What I need is phone callers desperately. If we can get the word out through phone calls, we can take this congressional seat as a pre-2010 win for liberty and provide momentum and encouragement to all those liberty candidates considering running in the 2010 election. Right now I'm the only California candidate listed on http://RetakeCongress.com and http://RonPaulRepublican.com. Together we can change that and work to have a Congress that understands their constitutional role.
