Ron Paul - Front Page of Politico (2012/Obama/Palin)

0 votes

Ron Paul was recently on the front page of Politico.com. He talks about a potential 2012 run, Obama, and Palin. Interesting interview for sure!

Digg here!: http://digg.com/politics/Dr_No_s_moment_POLITICO_Ron_Paul_on...

"Dr. No's moment (POLITICO) - Ron Paul on 2012/Obama/Palin"

"politico.com — In this interview with Politico, Ron Paul criticizes both Obama on the left AND Palin to the right. He also talks about whether he will run for President again in 2012."

Actual article is here (don't forget to recommend):

This is a waste of time!!

Get on your goddammed phones and call your congress representative and about the abuses to children going on at Abu Gharib all covered up by Bush, Cheney.

These criminals need to go to jail! Do something instead of typing on your keyboards!

I don't think they're working today

I can't get through to anyone this morning.

The GW scam is the blaming of we the people

GW scam never mentions the wars and the WMD as part of the equation. All the nuclear, HAARP, chemical weapons, the storage of nuclear waste, the oil spills, the corporate mistakes/accidents like crashed airplanes... none of this is part of the global warming argument, and yet, these things, contrail clouds and their pollution.. or the demolation of buildings...creates massive environmental damage... how many years did it take to clean up Exxon Valdez? Instead, the argument (Thanks's to Al Gore, who Nader ran against in 2000 because of the Clinton/Gore neglect of the environment as a solution then, which led to establishing fodder for forest fires...which could have been prevented and we the people are being blamed for consuming too much, too much gas, too many products.

So I believe there is a global warming, but it is not created by consumers, but created by government and corporations engaged in wars with WMD, nuclear waste, instruments like HAARP, and accidents and destruction by corprationes serving government contracts. To deny GW is to deny that corporations and government did cause any damage. We the people should accrept the argument, but not accept the blame, instead put it where is belongs, on those WHO KNOW what they have done to create GW (GW is called GW because it's based on ocean tempratures rising, and water is what is covering the planet). It has little to do with what temprature it is on land, except confusing people

"There is one good thing about the lunatic "global warming" catechism now taught our youth in the mandatory government youth propaganda camps :

When they are finally forced to admit that the globe has been cooling again, not warming, for the past decade, yet proceed to demand precisely the same remedies for "global cooling" (which they will cleverly dub "climate change") as they did for "global warming" -- that is to say higher electric bills, more government controls, taxes sufficient to cripple our industrial economy and generally lower our standard of living in keeping with the world socialist doctrine that America and particularly the "capitalist rich" must be "punished" and "made to sacrifice" in penitence for our former prosperity -- there is finally a decent chance they'll simply be laughed out of town."

"Man-made global warming" is a scam promoted by those who want more taxes, more control of our lives, less enjoyment of the freedom represented by private automobiles and single-family homes -- a modern sect of flagellants who (when you come right down to it) view mankind as a pox and parasite on an otherwise lovely world full of weeds and bugs more deserving of care, opportunity and "protection" than our own children, a sect who would view as a "regretful necessity" any government policy that could reduce the number of humans by at least half.

I'm not making this stuff up. See www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=92557; www.rightsidenews.com/200907035325/energy-and-environment/cl...

"Man-made global warming" is a scam ( OR NOT )

I think the wisest position from our R3VOLution's point of view as well as a recruiting Strategy Point of View, ought to be the following.

When it comes to .......

Man Made Global Warming (or cooling) and all other ENVIRONMENTALIST issues VS
Nature Made Global Warming (or cooling) and all other Environmentalists issues......

The answer is: Well defined PRIVATE property rights and a Free Market.

This is because, which ever is true above, the ANSWER IS THE SAME.

So it is WISE for you and me all our environmentalist friends, -- -and please call me an ENVIRONMENTALIST too... as in I am passionately concerned.... that is a capital C O N C E R N E D about wild life and Nature..... nevertheless, I did not take the socialist road to find a "Solution". Most scientists or those that are doing studies, may have their political pet solution, but they realize more than others that THEY are not EXPERTS at understanding how to get from here, to there.

That is were Libertarianism comes in. Or a branch of Libertarianism comes in call Free Market Environmentalism.

Lets say the partisan republican claim that "Man Made global warming is a scam is NOT true and the Environmentalists are correct.... The answer is still well defined PRIVATE property rights and the Free Market.

This is because the answer to the age old problem called, "The Tragedy of the Commons" and the "Free Rider" issue, is again,... well defined Private Property Rights and a Free Market that results from that.

The challenge has been for our legal laws -- and ultimately our conceptual imagination -- to apply private property rights to property thought of as FLUID(s). Material nature comes in two forms to our ape-like minds... Solids and Fluids. Land, rocks, trees, are seen as solid, definable & thus trade-able "things". Rivers, water, oceans, animal herds, are seen as Fluid, hard to define and thus hard to 'private property' and thus make as trade-able "things".

SO, please do not get into the Science of the issue.... But YES do get into the political Freedom side.... and point out that given their view of the science (what ever that is), the solution is an Environmentalist FREE MARKET one.

Take Orangatange hands being sold in essentially flea markets (free markets) in Asia. Point out the problem is not the flea market, the problem is that nobody owns Orangutans. Sure the Government National Preserve does -- but how is that socialist solution working our for us? -- It is not working. For as Milton Friedman pointed out long ago with regard to the railroads as an example, when it is in the public's General interest VS in a companies private interests, over time the company's interests will win out. Therefore, float the idea that to save the Orangutans, the National Preserve should be sold to a private entity who then has a PRIVATE interest in protecting their assets as well as Maximizing its value. Private Nature Preserve HOLDING COMPANIES could be set up and get its charter to do just that.

Oh the horror! Nature shows would then need to PAY for film footage. Tourist would have to Pay. Companies wanting anything to do with Orangutans, say medical companies would have to pay. Lumber companies would have to pay seriously high premiums because the owner would have the long term interest of the asset in mind.

In Peace and Liberty,
Treg

You must be invested in the same GW companies Al Gore is...

Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes the laws - Mayer Amschel Rothschild

Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes the laws - Mayer Amschel Rothschild

No I didn't. It's called "Geoengineering" and it's very real.

It is man made climate change. Maybe not quite how Gore defines it, but it's man made and the goal is to effect climate change.

Like it!

(From a negative to a positive title, for once. Yet, now off the predominant top slot. Sneaky, huh?)

The title to the front page [linked article] was "Dr No's Moment"

And now renamed to "Republicans embrace Ron Paul on domestic policy"

Who talked sense into the editors ?

Edit: now I see why - damage done and now bump down

And now under the link "Dr No's Moment"

"Ron Paul is embraced by SOME Republicans."

Which is it? Will they make up their minds already!

-1, 0, +1 = It's a wash, I guess

(I should have gotten screen captures)

they have two different

they have two different articles on Dr. Paul on the front page....

That crazy as uncle was right and the MSM is falling all over

themselves interviewing him and blogging and write-ups or do they just want hits on their pages and eyes on their shows? Whatever it is, I like it and most of it is positive unlike during the campaign.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Well, I guess he called that one.

Maybe that's why lefties

Maybe that's why lefties call themselves "progressives". B-)

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.

That would be....

Loyal to the crazy uncle, Jim....but, crazy as uncle...Ron suits me fine too. :) Thanks for understanding that sheeple watch msm. They need to be awakened. We are already.

BUMP FOR LIBERTY!

Dugg @51

Ron Paul is my President.

Ron Paul is my President.

I don't think it will be Obama in 2012.

I think we'll see a run from Hillary by then.

Obama is likely to either be ousted prior to the end of his term, or be so unpopular that he won't be able to win another term.

Hillary is going to step up.

Me either. I see him as temporary.

If Hillary can give the appearance of distancing herself enough from Obama as he falls flat on his face, she might be able to pull it off.

...use him as a stepping stone of sorts.
