This particular person, a Sgt. Cook, was (1) a Reservist who (2) was not otherwise being mobilized to leave the US but (3) gratuitously volunteered to go to Afghanistan. He volunteered in May, when, evidently, he was satisfied that Obama was born in the US. Under the terms of such volunteering, he was entitled to un-volunteer right up to the last day, and without having to give any reason. So he un-volunteered and they cancelled his mobilization, and they didn't care about his purported reason because he didn't need to give any reason at all.
On the other hand, a federal court has just handed the birthers in uniform their walking papers. A retired bird colonel went to court saying that he was, at least in theory, susceptible of being reactivated to military duty and therefore he wanted to sue to be sure that Obama was a natural born citizen. The court threw his case out, on the grounds that military service - especially when it was so improbable - did not qualify as either the money or property which was necessary to bring such a lawsuit. Hollister v. Soetoro (DDC March 5, 2009) 601 F.Supp.2d 179.

I know about the situation of the soldier in questions' orders to deploy being rescinded, but i have my doubts about why exactly that was. I think its pretty clear it was in response to challenging the authority of the POTUS, but i have serious lingering doubts this was in effect over the issue of the birth certificate.
If CORP U.S.A exists and is truly operating strictly under such capacity, challenging the authority of the POTUS, may have attacked much truer to the heart of the matter in that the POTUS of corp USA doesnt rightfully have the authority to compel anyone claiming their own independence or refusal of agreement for deployment (denial of contract) to go to war on its behalf.
Id like to see a lot more investigation go into exactly why that one soldiers orders were rescinded, because if it was something closer to the reason i pointed out, those already deployed, i would assume, would have effectually already agreed to the terms and the conditions of their de(em)ployment, and a reactional challenge of 'authority' might be something that they then no longer have a right to challenge, and the repercussions as such may be much more dangerous for them.
Im also quite appalled of the accusations of character and demeanor of the poster as pointed out by some of the responses to this thread.

From various Ron Paul supporters claiming to support sending RP delegates to conventions. Promised to post accountability info. Not only did he not post the info, never sent any delegates, but refused to respond when called on it.
Prior to that scam, was the scam in which he took money in another websites name. (Copied their website, claimed credit, and had people paying into his personal chip-in.) He was called on that by that group, and refused to explain his actions, expecting it to all blow over, as things do.
And since then, he has posted dangerous and inaccurate information between posting as his psuedonyms.
And what is interesting is the same 4 people all always show up with the "I personally know this true" crap whenever he posts and get's challenged on anything, but he doesn't respond personally.
I still have the e-mails, including one that he sent me trying to get me to be quiet about he first fraud attempt when he took money in the other organizations name.
Most of the history is still around on the DP I believe, just in very old threads. But it includes e-mails from the head of the that group, proving all of Jdayh's statements false.

Since you can always corroborate whatever Jdayh's latest post is with first hand knowledge of it's truth, I am sure you are already aware that following that the dvds4delegates posted a statement that indicated Jdayh's poor explanation was insufficient and he refused to respond to that one.
And of course there is the small matter of him refusing to document what happened to that $3000 despite his claims that he would do so prior to getting the money.

I still am a firm believer that in order to actually shake things up and put some fear into these bastards in DC and set things straight we are going to have to show up en mass in DC with at least a million and surround the all of them with a list of demands: the first being Soetoro's eligibility. No permits or permission we have the authority constitutionally to do that and if we keep sitting on our asses not willing to go right to to the beast all the lawsuits petition and letters may be for naught.
All the while we are being set up for slaughter...be it loss of all of our freedoms, crash of our economy (intentional) or whatever mean they can to bring us under total control...use you imagination.I say we just find someone to organize it fasttrack it and do it before this fall...

Thomas, thanks for clearing that up. Because I wasn't agreeing with the main premise of this thread only with what you had posted about going to DC en masse.
In fact, I have my doubts that the premise of this thread is even legal. While what the major did appears to be. To publicly encourage others to do the same, acting as a middle person to facilitate these acts and using DP to advertise it may not be legal.

We need our military

One thing that uncle sam has done over several generations has been to project our empire overseas. This took a huge army and millions of men to staff such a force. The by product of this huge machine is that we now have millions of trained retired and former veterans who know how to shoot weapons and systems of all kinds. I want all of our men to come home but, the men who are here now can easily defend the country from foreign invaders (and anyone else). :)
