New Commercials : MUST SEE!

These are some of the best commercials IMHO that have been produced. He is actively working on new ones that he says are even better, which I think his skill and judgement are proven out by these so I am anxiously awaiting those as well.

I would like to see these on the front page, we should also set up a PAC to take contributions and start running for meetups in early states ASAP.

If anyone wants to do that part, great. But I am so motivated by the quality of these that if no one else steps up to the plate for that, I will.

He is making the the high quality TV ready tapes available as well as appropriate documentation in order to run these available to anyone who wants them, free of charge!

The following is a message from Jeremiah Black, the creator, as posted in a comment below (I don't want it to get buried in what will no doubt become a flurry of comments on this post, and thank you again):

------

Thanks everyone for your kind words about the ads I made. They were made by myself and, of course, my friends who all work in either modeling or television with me here in NYC and who are also big Ron Paul supporters. Also, an ad was posted for me here on Daily Paul for actors, and a few dropped by to appear on camera for us. There will be 3 or 4 more coming that I've already filmed, so look for those soon.

It's too bad that the commercials don't have much ethnic or age diversity, but three of my friends got called into work while we were shooting. All three were black. And one was 50 years old. Bad luck. But, if everyone likes them enough, we'll shoot some more, and plan better next time. These were really made rather off-handedly, but are very professional because we all work in television and have very fancy toys to play with in the office.

The studio rental was $1350.00, but other than than that, all gear and labor was free. All the crew were Ron Paul supporters, as were all the actors and models. High quality broadcast versions of the spots are available to air, should anyone want them.

Thanks, again,

- jeremiah black, NY, NY

Really Good Stuff

You young people are having all the fun! Beautiful Work!

Ron Paul TV/Radio Ads

Has the Ron Paul campaign used any of the You tube videos for radio or tv spots? I am consider to whether anyone know if they have or not. If not, which ones would you recommend the campaign show that would be the most effective in an individual state.

Legally speaking

Once you post a YouTube video (check their "small print"), that video becomes the property OF YouTube. Also, in the case of those videos with copyrighted music, no theater, no TV station and no radio would ever allow those to be played without proof of "Intellectual Property Rights Release." I've worked in this industry for a while and know this to be true. Otherwise it is considered "rebroadcasting for profit" even if you are a "non-profit," you are using someone else's IPR to entertain, educate, etc and therefore you must obtain their permission before doing so.

I know to most this sounds like an "innocent use" of music, but TV, Radio, etc. must all pay royalties everytime "THEY" play those songs, so they will be quick to tell you that you must as well.

Another "venue/forum" for these

I am checking into "in-theater advertising" at some select theaters here in Dallas for possibly these or another one of my personal favorites (makes me smile everytime I see this one) at http://www.joecorrao.com//RonPaul/RP_onthecampaigntrail01.html

Nowadays, we sit through endless commercials prior to the "Feature Presentation" we paid to see, so why not use THESE opportunities for a little "education?!"

You might check with theaters in your areas as well, get with your Meet-Up groups and possibly sponsor these just as our USA Today friend sponsored his ad on his own :-)

Imagine these playing on a BIG SCREEN, in front of a "captive audience" where they CAN'T flip the channel...

More variety needed Use recognizable characters

yeah add recognizable characters and a black guy (such as myself)
and ... hum .. someone maybe ... hum ugly ? I mean right now I prefer to vote for the girl on the commercial (is she in a meetup group ? where can I reach her for ... working on new T shirt designs ??) rather than for Ron ..

GREAT ADS!!!

But I'd petition for one minor change.

Ron Paul has never voted against our 1st and 2nd ammendment rights.

What about the other 8?

Just perfect...

... but to please the politically correct crowd make one with more diversity and stress Ron Paul's integrity, humility, consistency, honesty and unwaivering commitment to the Constitution.

He does not have to say "read my lips."

William Simon, Reagan's Secretary of the Treasury said ... qout about Paul being the only honest man in Congress..

John McCain's quote about Ron Paul...

Never accepted a political junket in 30 years...

He is the only Congressman with a 100% rating judged by... forgot the name of the entity...

For some of us, the man and his message attracts us to him, rather than specific policy measures...

Awsome!!!!!!!!!

Add more of a cross section of America and they will be perfect!!!!!!!!!

Man I am Sick of this

I am sick of having these beautiful Ron Paul videos make me feel like I am going to cry all the time. I used to cry like once every five years and now I'm choking up three times a day. And if I ever see that damn blimp, I KNOW I am going to totally lose it.

Would it be too much to ask that you all PLEASE just elect Ron Paul already so I can go back to being a cynical hard-ass?

Thank you.

I feel ya on that one. It's

I feel ya on that one. It's the same for me!

wish there was more variety

i would have liked to have seen people of various ages, colors, etc...

MITT ROMNEY: STILL UN-ELECTABLE

Caption Needed: "Actual Ron Paul Volunteers"

These are almost too good.

I'd still like to see an ad with candid "YouTube" unprofessional endorsements, like the one attempted in the campaign's first ad. That one failed because they tried to make something look candid using non-professionals. I wish they had used actual candid clips, even of the same people, but not "acted." I wouldn't even care if the technical quality were less than professional. I want to see genuine feeling.

20/20 showed unprofessional aerial footage taken by the man who taught geese to follow his ultralight in a story they did a few years ago. The emotional impact was amazing. Columbia Pictures bought the movie rights, taught more geese to do the same, used all the best Sony equipment and digital techniques, and made a big screen movie that did not have nearly the same impact, I thought, because it was too professional. It lost too much of the wonder.

Capturing "Ron Paul" is a difficult job!

Use recognizable characters who are trustworthy in recognizable settings to say why they are voting for Ron Paul:

The Nurse: I'm voting for Ron Paul to protect our healthcare freedom.

#2 all the way!!!

The second advertisement is stellar! It needs to be broadcast EVERYWHERE!
(sorry for the caps yelling - it's really spectacular - the best I have seen)

If someone would set up a fund to run that ad - I'm in for at least $100 (and will still keep my Dec 16 plans)

BTW - the 1st is good too, but the second really rocks!

I agree

Ad #2 all the way!

Drain the swamp!

I sent the ad creator an email to see if he's interested.

I already have the ad schedule set for two weeks in Iowa and have also completed the PAC paperwork.

let me know if there's interest in getting these Ads going...

I've already planned the two weeks Iowa airtime using Spot-Runner for December 16-Jan 5th. We could run these two Ads plus a new one in the strongest Republican districts.

Also, I've already completed the paperwork for a new PAC so let me know if there's interest. I could also have a site for contributions up and running within a day.

Just need to connect with the creator of the ad so we can add the required FEC stuff.

hi, I'm the creator of the ad

If anyone needs to reach mer to discuss the ad, my email is:

if you need help...

with that website, im all for helping on that front. good work getting paperwork going. You sound like you could probably handle it all, but youve got my support to help if you need it.

awesome

let's see if he gets back to me

contact

very good. when you find out and things are looking up, hit my email up.
eyereight@gmail.com

I was going to do the paperwork on a PAC this weekend...

To start getting these aired. The creator needs a little more financing to finish them off, comply with FEC regs etc... If you are ready to take up the cause though, I would be glad to pass the torch since I was only doing it because no one else had done so yet.

Send me a message and let me know.

I'm ready to go and

sent him an email.. I will send you one as well. The PAC is ready and I could have the donation page ready in a day.

mmm call me crazy, i think

mmm call me crazy, i think one of these ads (overlapping dialogue from different actors) would work really well if it started out reciting the pledge of allegiance, and a quick soundbyte about liberty or freedom at the end if time permitted.
