The Last Hour
Found this while looking for *live* feeds from tonight:
"KWMU has published a video of what appears to be one of the shootings that happened yesterday. This happened in Riverview, about 15 minutes outside of the center of the protests. We believe that it is important to be transparent in what information we gather and allow for you to make the decision yourself on what you want to see or not see.
The video is graphic, and contains images of someone being shot and killed. Viewer discretion advised, you have been warned."
In light of the horrific situation in Ferguson, an op-ed ran in today's Washington Post, chillingly titled, "I'm a cop. If you don't want to get hurt, don't challenge me." Not "obey the law." "Don't challenge me."
Here's a bit of what this upstanding public servant has to say:
Simply share your favourite Ron Paul moment weather its of the man or eating pizza locked out of a delegate meeting (in video or pictures, keep text short).
I'll kick it off with pure class...

The Washington Times
Rand Paul is courting black voters unabashedly, traveling a path not taken by most Republican presidential hopefuls since Jack Kemp blitzed urban America with his message of economic hope and opportunity two decades ago.
From his speech at a historically black university to his essay decrying the militarization of local police, Mr. Paul is clearly trying to bridge a gap between the party of Abraham Lincoln and a minority voter base that has massively voted for Democrats.
But whether the senator from Kentucky can leverage his libertarian conservative views and anti-government message into a presidential electoral advantage depends on factors that may extend beyond his control.
My daughter and I went to see Tom Petty at the Gorge in WA last Friday evening. I usually buy a t-shirt while I'm at the show and it is usually hot there so I wanted to wear a shirt I could take off and leave at the show since I planned on wearing whatever shirt I bought at the show.
I went to my dresser drawer, I usually have a few old t-shirts in there that are ready to be sent to goodwill, to find a shirt to wear and when I opened my drawer, the first shirt I saw was a black one that was folded up nicely, my girlfriend is really a great woman, and I picked it up and held it by the top and let the bottom fall towards the floor and when it unfolded, I quickly realized it was a Ron Paul t shirt from the 2012 campaign. The shirt felt really great in my hands as they were actually made pretty well. I remember thinking about the time I had spent on the campaign, going to see Ron in Seattle and talking to many people about Ron. I went so far as to put up signs in my yard and windows of my house. I had buttons I would pass out when someone would show some interest in talking about Ron Paul and what he stands for. I had never before been involved in politics, other than talking with people about it. I remember all the great hope I had for Ron winning and being able to start the turn around of our country and what it could mean for the future of us all.

Ron Paul is 79 today
Libertarians owe him a great debt, one which can never be repaid. Without him, it’s more than likely that our movement would’ve either gone off the rails, succumbing to opportunism of the worst sort, or else slipped into obscurity, never to be seen or heard from again. Thanks to him, neither of those dreadful scenarios occurred.
What happened instead was the almost miraculous growth and development of libertarianism into a viable national movement, with “mainstream” media forced to sit up and take notice. Now we are told we may be approaching the “libertarian moment” — by the New York Times, no less! — and 90 percent of the credit (maybe more!) goes to Ron and the movement he inspired.
Sunil Dutta, a 17-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department and professor of homeland security at Colorado Tech University, has a suggestion for victims of police violence searching for someone to blame: Look in the mirror.
Egypt said it was "closely following the escalation of protests" after the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white policeman on 9 August, reports the BBC.
Iran added its voice to the criticism, with Majid Takht-Ravanchi, the deputy foreign minister for European and American Affairs, saying the unrest was a sign of "the phenomenon of racism" in the West.
We're about to find out.
West Point, a 'suburb' of Monrovia (Liberian Capital) is (now) under quarantine. Here
Nobody in. Nobody out. 75,000 people. Here
A curfew is being imposed as well on the population 9pm-6am.
Sounds like Marsha Law just came to town... she's not nice.
West Point is a township (the administrative equivalent of a city ward) of the Liberian capital city of Monrovia, located on a peninsula which juts out into the Atlantic Ocean between the Mesurado and Saint Paul rivers. Home to approximately 75,000 people, it is one of Monrovia's most densely populated neighorhoods
I wanted to bring up a situation over this last weekend that involved my Driver’s License, or as otherwise put my ID. I was getting ready to go out for the day on the lake with a few other people and instead of carrying my wallet with me (which I would not need in the middle of a lake) I chose to leave it in the vehicle’s glove compartment.
AUSTIN (CBS Houston/AP) — Texas Gov. Rick Perry will turn himself into authorities Tuesday on charges related to abuse of power, CBS News reports.
Perry on Friday became the first Texas governor since 1917 to be indicted, and is facing charges of coercion and official oppression that carry a maximum sentence of 109 years in prison for carrying out a threat to veto funding for the state’s public integrity unit last summer.
