Dr. Paul formally announced his endorsement of Linda Goldthorpe in her bid to replace Bart Stupak in Michigan's First Congressional District!

In an announcement yesterday, Dr. Paul released the following statement:

Much is going on here in Michigan in preparing to win the August 5th. Republican primary against Tom Casperson and Don Hooper. Linda's willingness to take a stand to defend the Constitution of our land is making waves in the district - which is not difficult to understand when you consider that Freedom, Peace and Prosperity are popular with all people.

We are getting set to make a much-anticipated major announcement on a key endorsement that we've been waiting on. I can't say more at this point other than to say that Linda was in Washington last week.

A quick update on our efforts to send Goldthorpe to Congress...

1. Since March 29th - 11 days ago, we've raised $550, or roughly $50 a day. Thank you for those of you who've pitched in for this raise.

It's an exciting thought...that Ron Paul would no longer be alone in his vigilant fight in Congress. Let's elect some like-minded individuals for Ron in Congress.

She's running for Congress in Michigan's First Congressional District to un-seat Democrat Bart Stupak. Trash your subscriptions to your cable, satellite, and tabloid news publications - let's do a mass cancellation on February 1st. and
'dump' all those devalued federal reserve notes into the Ron Paul campaign.

And every month, on the first, until either he becomes president, or until there becomes another place to put them to fuel this movement, continue to dump those funds.

I suggested this back in May - an idea that was maybe a bit premature in it's timing...a targeted boycott of the tabloid media that's routinely either shut Dr. Paul out, or smeared his good name.

I watched the 'Hacking Democracy'. This is a must for every American, regardless of your preference of candidate. We MUST take this process back from the secret corporations.

Like you don't already have enough to do...I'm suggesting we ALL take it on ourselves to do our own county audits. I found this link that gives some overview of the basics. Maybe Bev from Black Box Voting can give us some more pointers on her website.

Donations over the phone WILL be included in the official daily numbers. The campaign said that on November 5th. $200K came in over the phone. That number could be significantly higher with the easy-to-remember toll-free number.

Eating din-din at Grandma's house? Taking a long road trip? Internet service turned off 'cuz you didn't pay your bill (donating instead to Ron Paul)? Don't forget - give over the phone!

The TeaParty07 website obviously will NEVER have this number on it. I think it's a shame that Trevor has decided himself not to post it as an alternative way to donate to the campaign on December 16th. (and any other day for that matter). The TeaParty site states that the ONLY way to donate to the campaign is via the web - which is not true.

Anyone ever hear of Amy Lorentzen, of AP fame (famous for her catchy headline about another party crasher - "Republican Ron Paul to Crash Iowa Forum")?

I'm a peaceful person. I've never, in my life of 47 years, been in a physical fight. I have no desire to cause a stir or be disruptive. I've been at local festivals, the county fair, the Mackinac Bridge Walk, GOP Conference, Santa Parade, and with no problems.
