http://f2a.org/ has another poll - I don't know how long it will continue, I just found it and it says it is a daily poll but Paul is featured several places in the comments, but doesn't show up in the rankings.
Also, the WND article says she will be interviewing "the rest" (She already has done Hunter and Tancredo), so maybe a nice email asking when Ron Paul's interview is scheduled might be in order.
Straw Poll results are in:
But it doesn't have to be that way. Here's an idea – how about we back someone who has supported life for more than, say, 15 minutes? Of about 400 who voted this week, the top ten candidates were:
1. Tancredo – 96 votes, 24.4 percent
2. Paul – 95 votes, 24.2 percent (not bad for someone who wasn't even listed)
3. Brownback – 70 votes, 17.8 percent
4. Hunter – 52 votes, 13.2 percent
5. Huckabee – 41 votes, 10.4 percent
6. Gingrich – 17 votes, 4.3 percent
Janet L Folger is conducting a straw poll. An excerpt:
Straw houses can be blown down. And so, I appeal to the grass roots – the people who pound in the yard signs and get out the vote: If you don't want the "conservative" leaders compromising with a RINO the pundits say can win, here's your chance to be heard. Here's your chance to lead. E-mail me at F2Ainfo@f2a.org and VOTE. In the subject line, put your candidate in caps. Then, if you can, tell me WHY. I'll report the results in my column next week.
Fortunately, we have the internet.
For example, Ron Paul is pro-life, but there is nothing at the federal level that should permit or ban abortion, so he want the law to be status quo ante Roe. Actually SQA Griswold v. CT.
Probably worse is his ideas about immigration and (truly) free trade. The FT in NAFTA stands for free trade, but it really is managed reciprocal subsidies, tariffs, barriers, as well as currency manipulation.
