It is Easy to Become a Libertarian. It is Easier to Be an Anarchist.

Once someone sees the light, they usually rejects the modern Democrat and Republican Parties and declare themselves libertarian. The reality of self-ownership and the principle of non-aggression become firmly held beliefs, and nature repetitively proves your thesis upon observation. This type of reassurance in your ideology, and the confidence of principled argument make certain that once the value of liberty is discovered, it can not be rejected...

School shooting in Atlanta today.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/student-shot-head-atlant...

This one wont be any use to the gun control advocates since it was stopped by an armed officer onsite before anyone was killed. On student injured with a neck injury...the weapon used was a pistol. To me its just proof that having an armed individual on the scene is the best way to combat this problem.

Politico: Rubio Comes Out Against Hagel

Another Republican senator is coming out against Chuck Hagel to lead the Pentagon: Florida’s Marco Rubio.

In a statement, Rubio cited several policy differences with Hagel as reasons for his opposition, such as Hagel’s views on Cuba and sanctions on Iran. Rubio’s chief concern was what the senator called the “new era of austere defense budgets that will severely impede U.S. national security” that Rubio said he believed would happen under Hagel.

WSJ: Some Unions Grow Wary of Health Law They Backed

Labor unions enthusiastically backed the Obama administration's health-care overhaul when it was up for debate. Now that the law is rolling out, some are turning sour.

Union leaders say many of the law's requirements will drive up the costs for their health-care plans and make unionized workers less competitive. Among other things, the law eliminates the caps on medical benefits and prescription drugs used as cost-containment measures in many health-care plans. It also allows children to stay on their parents' plans until they turn 26.
