I'm not quite sure what to do with this. Apparently Martha Stewart got a drone as a present recently and has since gone drone-crazy.

The circus continues in what has been called "the nastiest primary" of the year by DC news outlets.
In a page straight out of the Thad Cochran playbook, mailers sent to Democrats at the last minute from Brian Ellis, the primary challenger for Justin Amash, are urging Democrats to vote for Ellis in the Republican primary Tuesday because he will be "reasonable," unlike Amash.
Yesterday, the House voted on a bill that would prohibit agencies from expanding the current number of aliens eligible for deferment, to authorize new deferment actions for any class of alien, or newly authorize an alien to work in the U.S. if they are not here legally.
It looks like it is just the Congress trying to re-enforce laws that are already on the books that are currently being ignored.
Read the bill here:
A medical examiner ruled Friday that a police officer's chokehold caused the death of a man whose videotaped arrest and final pleas of "I can't breathe!" sparked outrage and led to the overhaul of use-of-force training for the nation's largest police department.

Truth by nature is told, and by whatever means necessary...and the margin is disintegrating faster with each day! We, humanity, are finding our capacity for it.

Yesterday was a special day for all of us who have supported the High-Rise Safety Initiative in any way. After three months of pounding the NYC pavement, we finished our petition drive.

This was on Lew Rockwell's site. It's a cartoon from 1969 on printing money and it's pretty accessible and charming for people that don't low this stuff. The cartoonists were all Disney cartoonists---it's done very well.
What is the "Secret Science Reform Act of 2014"? It's a new bill in the Senate that proposes to "prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from proposing, finalizing, or disseminating regulations or assessments based upon science that is not transparent or reproducible."
I wonder if this means that all of the EPA science must be made available before a regulation can be even proposed.
Read the bill here:
Newton, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 30, 2014
An Ebola Virus outbreak caused by a novel Ebola strain, which was apparently introduced into the human population through a single case in 2013, now threatens to spread globally.
Accelerating since that time, the devastating disease, which WHO says kills up to 90% of its victims, is raging through West Africa and threatens to break out into countries with transportation links to that area. Current “authoritative” information asserts that there is no prevention and no cure for the disease, whether it has been weaponized (as some believe) or not.

This was in 2009 and the update is awesome to read.
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—More than 100 feet deep in Lake Huron, on a wide stoney ridge that 9,000 years ago was a land bridge, University of Michigan researchers have found the first archeological evidence of human activity preserved beneath the Great Lakes.
Here is an update.

VIDEO: July Jobs Growth Disappoints and Real Unemployment Hangs at 18%
BY Peter Morici 08/01/14 - 11:34 AM EDT
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The Labor Department reported the U.S. economy added only 209,000 jobs in July. The unemployment rate rose to 6.2%, but that hardly tells how tough the labor market has become for ordinary folks.
