I need 150 signatures to get this to show up on Whitehouse.gov
I just found out about Obama creating this "We The People" section of Whitehouse.gov - the way it works is this:
1. Petition is created
2. If petition receives 5000 votes in 30 days, the staff must evaluate the petition and consult policy experts.
3. The Administration must issue a response to the petition.

WASHINGTON - Muffins: $16 apiece. Coffee: more than a dollar an ounce. Snacks: $32 per person.
A report issued Tuesday by the Justice Department's inspector general found excessive spending on food and beverages in an audit of 10 department conferences.
Justice spent about $490,000 on food and beverages at the conferences — more than 10 percent of the $4.4 million total cost of the events.
In response, the Justice Department concurred with the IG's recommendations to more closely monitor costs.
I've never understood this. Why can't the Congress just pass a normal bill for this?
Its intellectually lazy and thus rather common to hear statements like "We need to cut big government" or "We need to tax the rich"
From the Felonious Munk. Language ensues so this isn't for tender ears; however, what this guy is saying is becoming an ever more prevalent attitude across these "united" fifty states. The passion should be food for serious thought. Again, there is profanity in these vids.....
