A committed Christian and staunch pro-life advocate, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul garnered a first-place showing at the Values Voter Summit straw poll, winning 37% of the vote and trouncing Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and Michele Bachmann.
To which Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council and organizer of the straw poll, had the only reasonable response: the guy who won most votes among Values Voter Summit attendees is obviously not the real choice of "values" voters…
On tonight's (Tues) show! They put up a graphic in which "Random school children" moved into first place in a ficticious poll:
Random School Children - 28%
Perry - 23%
Romney - 16%
Bachmann - 7%
Cain - 4%
After their "13th floor" bit was such a big hit, I'm amazed they turned around and pulled the same crap. Sure, it's a fake poll, but they fail to acknowledge Dr. Paul's polling position just the same.
Quite obvious I know, but AWESOOOOME.

I just wanted to take a moment here on the DP to say 'thanks' to Michael Nystrom for all of the hard work he has put into the DP over the last four years.
And I also want to thank all of the contributors and members on this site for the information they have provided in posts and comments. I have and continue to learn so much from being a small part of this community.
Can we vote up users like TED or subscribe to users like Twitter? :D thx
We are changing the course of history and I am proud to be a part of this rEVOLution.Thank you Michael and the entire Daily Paul family for having such a positive impact on my life, my family, and the rEVOLution.
The fedster is way ahead of the Dr., who is in 2nd place. Let's raise Ron Paul to his proper place: 1st!
follow this link to see how the constitution, if interpretted properly, would inhibit the gov't in such a way that austrian economic principles would allow people to practice designing their own economy with cost-efficiency bringing the market to equilibrium instead of debt creation.
There is an inverted way to see the economy just around the corner, with time this movement will wash away the deceptions bankers portray to us and allow us all to plan for ourselves.
This is just an upside down world we live in when a sarcastic satirical news publication similar to the Onion starts predicting events.
Were not in Kansas anymore.......
It's time to get serious this is the most important time in ron pauls campaign. I myself am doing everything i can to get ron paul known for the republican primaries and guess what? its not enough stop and ask yourself what am i doing and what else could i be doing? instead of throwing ideas around make them a reality.
This is where we the people make a stand and boost ron paul up to the point where no one can simply ignore or dismiss his arguments we need to start organizing, planning, and acting
this is the time for REAL CHANGE
this is the time for action

Some of the best pleasures in life are the small ones that are unexpectedly sprung on you.
I always wonder if wearing my Ron Paul buttons convinces anyone. Well I don't wonder anymore. A fellow medical student classmate of mine stopped me today and said:
"Hey I read your 'manifesto' on why I should vote for Ron Paul. I voted for Obama in '08 but I've been so disappointed. I feel like it is time for some... real change. In fact I stopped using facebook so I had to go to the DailyPaul to find your manifesto to send it to some friends."
The latest Reuters Ipsos poll puts Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul within striking distance of President Obama, while Grammy-winning musician Barry Manilow sings Paul's praises.
I hate to give them the clicks, but I thought it should be noted that the Obamafans at Daily Kos are finally turning on their savior. The fangs have come out and they are foaming at the mouth mad. LOL! It's a beautiful thing. Just read the comments thread below the article.
One of their commenters even posts: "Can we please start openly talking about primaries and third parties?"
