Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) will make his third appearance as a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Monday, September 26 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), his first since announcing his intentions to seek the 2012 Republican nomination for President of the United States of America.

Dr. Paul's last appearance on "The Daily Show" was on September 29, 2009. He also appeared on June 4, 2007.

Hey I know that I am a bit disappointed with the FL straw poll results today, but just think - RP didn't even speak there today and still got 10% of the rich party-line old person vote. Let's keep focusing on spreading the message of freedom. Push hard to get everyone in your sphere to watch the Daily Show Monday. I think it will be a great and positive interview...perhaps one of the best of the year. Don't be discouraged, we are the tortose...slow and steady wins the race! 1250 showing up to see RP at LSU isn't half bad either! =)

The video of Jon Stewart calling the media out for ignoring Ron Paul after the Iowa straw poll is #16 on the Daily Show's all-time most-watched list. Ron Paul is going on the Daily show at the end of the month, and it'd be nice if Ron Paul supporters could get that video to #1, or at least close to it. We also might want to start an effort to get a bunch of Ron Paul supporters in the studio for the taping. I think it was scheduled for the 27th, but verify with the Ron Paul campaign and see about getting tickets.

Last night's debate could easily provide another killer segment of Daily Show ridicule. Especially since Jon likes to poke at Brian Williams (who is hilarious when he appears on the Daily Show).

[Clip of Ron saying, "I am a doctor, but you don't want to ask me any questions about health care..."]

"For our next question, we turn to the important issue of pizza toppings. Jon Stewart thinks mushrooms are a good topping, although he also eats pizza plain. What are your thoughts, Jon Huntsman?"

"Newt, do you want to follow up on that?"
