Ron Paul and Israel

Ron Paul and Israel (Video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB3QTAa7lMQ

Ron Paul is the only candidate who recognizes that current U.S. foreign policy endangers Israel. End government foreign aid and you empower Israel to govern itself. Why are supposed "pro-Israel" candidates in favor of giving 3-4 times more aid to Israel's Arab enemies?

Glenn Greenwald: The mainstreaming of Walt and Mearsheimer

There were numerous reasons that Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer were accused in prominent venues of all sorts of crimes -- including anti-Semitism -- when they published The Israel Lobby, but the most common cause was the book's central theme: that there is a very powerful lobby in the U.S. which is principally devoted to Israel and causes U.S. political leaders to act to advance the interests of this foreign nation over their own.

A subway station billboard war is the latest flareup in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The dispute began with posters urging an end to U.S. military aid for Israel, prompting a City Council member to demand an end to the ads - and spawning an upcoming series of counter-ads.

Do US arms deals with Israel break any international laws?

Can anyone point me to a supporting source? I remember reading somewhere something about this, that because Israel possesses nuclear weapons, no country is allowed to sell them more weapons?? I don't remember the exact details. Anybody?

Glenn Beck misleading yet again on Ron Paul and Israel

I just caught Glenn Beck and sidekick discussing Barry Manilow's support of Ron Paul. They immediately questioned Manilow's support because as a Jew doesn't he know how anti-Israel Ron Paul is? Glenn Beck will have to be called on this.

It's like he is missing a few parts of the argument. Ron Paul thinks Israel is a sovereign nation that should be able to protect itself. He is against all foreign aid, and more foreign aid goes to Israel's enemies than Israel itself. I never see anywhere that he is anti-Israel.

Is the United States a True Ally of Israel?

Question: How much money does the United States give to Israel on an anual basis?

Question: How much money does the United States give to all the Arab nations put together?

What is wrong with this picture?
Many things I know...but perhaps Dr. Paul needs to discuss this by painting a picture in the audiences mind.

Are we truly helping Israel by giving all the neighboring Arab countries millions of dollars?

A 30 minute infomercial (alaRossPerot) with son Rand would be a great way to inform the public. Do it in segments using chalk boards and/or computer illustrations.

"Israel's belligerent foreign poilicy creating Isolationism"

I had to post this seeing that the current US foreign policy is one in the same with Israel, although it's Ron Paul's Non-Intervention foreign policy that is constantly called Isolationist..

RP's foreign policy on Israel, please help clarify

I have had argument after argument with people who are dead hung up on RP's positions on Israel.

their hang up is alwasy basically this:

If Israel was under threat of nuclear annihilation from Iran, or any other country or combination of countries....that RP would not take the call and would let the chips fall where they may.

they cite mainly the Megan Kelly interview on Fox a few months ago.

and this is one of their main reasons for not supporting Paul based on their understanding of his foreign policy in regards to israel.

Israel, Middle East,

By ETHAN BRONNER
Published: September 10, 2011

JERUSALEM — With its Cairo embassy ransacked, its ambassador to Turkey expelled and the Palestinians seeking statehood recognition at the United Nations, Israel found itself on Saturday increasingly isolated and grappling with a radically transformed Middle East where it believes its options are limited and poor.

In Case You Missed It - Major Developments in the Middle East Going On

Last night the Israeli Ambassy in Cairo was stormed by crowds of angry Egyptians. This led to severe violence, in which at least two people were killed and dozens wounded. The Egyptian elite garde had to step in to save the Israel personal at the site.

Next week Erdogan plans to visit Egypt for talks on military cooperation. One might wonder where this is all going. And then of course we have the issue of PALESTINE coming up this month, which might well me the most significant and sensitive development of them all.
