A committed Christian and staunch pro-life advocate, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul garnered a first-place showing at the Values Voter Summit straw poll, winning 37% of the vote and trouncing Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and Michele Bachmann.
To which Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council and organizer of the straw poll, had the only reasonable response: the guy who won most votes among Values Voter Summit attendees is obviously not the real choice of "values" voters…
On tonight's (Tues) show! They put up a graphic in which "Random school children" moved into first place in a ficticious poll:
Random School Children - 28%
Perry - 23%
Romney - 16%
Bachmann - 7%
Cain - 4%
After their "13th floor" bit was such a big hit, I'm amazed they turned around and pulled the same crap. Sure, it's a fake poll, but they fail to acknowledge Dr. Paul's polling position just the same.
Liberal comedian Jon Stewart has been one of the most sympathetic television personalities to Ron Paul and his cause, and as a result, Stewart has come to Paul’s defense a number of times, even calling out the mainstream media for its failure to provide fair and accurate reporting of Paul’s campaign success.
If Paul could persuade Establishment Republicans, it seems his presidency would be all but certain.
This Should Be interesting considering Stewart's previous opinions of Ron Paul and the media blackout. I don't remember the last time that I tuned in to the Comedy Central station.

The Jon Stewart Cornpolled Video recently moved onto the first page of his most viewed videos list. It did this by passing the "Barack Obama Pt. 1" video. Sign of things to come?
I can't wait for Sept. 26th.
