Ron Paul is making a campaign stop in Eastern North Carolina Friday. He will be in Greenville, NC - home of East Carolina University. Dr. Paul along with Congressman Walter Jones is scheduled speak to supporters and attendees at the Greenville Convention Center. The event is from 5pm - 7pm. My contacts at the local NBC station WITN tell me that local reporters are covering the event and will interview Ron Paul for the evening news. We need to mobilize as many people as possible to attend this event - ticket prices are $25.00 per person and $10.00 for students.
FoxNation does put up online polls. That is the only reason to check them out but I did come across this!
Not sure if this was thought up before... In wake of the mainstream media (CNN,FOX,NBC, etc.) treating Ron Paul unfairly I think we should schedule a day where we turn off all of our tvs at once and not give them views. I believe if we can get their views to drop significantly it will send an impact on them. Not only that but also email their advertisers as a heads up (e.g. maybe suggesting that Ron Paul should have adequate time during the debates in the emails, Doesn't he deserve it?). Hopefully this will encourage them to allocate more time to Ron Paul.
He believes Iraq was an "elective" war. That emotions gave Bush a blank check. I guess he'll be forced into retirement soon.
Downloading a video from Youtube, I noticed the link contained the name of my ISP, Comcast.
My question is, are Youtube video cache servers located in Youtube facilities, rented from ISPs, or do ISPs like Comcast cache videos for playback themselves? If so, does that mean Comcast/NBCUniversal has the ability to directly block or modify content for their ISP subscribers?
The video I downloaded was served from:

The establishment is the federal government, large corporations, the military and “The Big 6”. To quote www.freepress.net on the subject, “The U.S. media landscape is dominated by massive corporations that, through a history of mergers and acquisitions, have concentrated their control over what we see, hear and read.” What that actually means is that they are able to depict events, by a series of tiny manipulations or misrepresentations, to best suit their interests.

MSNBC's First Read continues attracting votes for its post-Presidential Republican Debate poll. As of 1:30 a.m. Sept 9, more than 203,000 votes have been cast. Ron Paul has widened his lead over Mitt Romney and Rick Perry. Paul has 57%, Romney 14.6%, and Perry 12.4%.
I was very happy to see a more accurate graph and was blown away by the updated votes!! Its so amazing to see our "small group of supporters" becoming a not so small group! On another note just pointed another customer in the Ron Paul 2012 direction.
...What? How? Why? Who? How do these people keep getting work?
Twice in a day I find myself in a bewilderment.
40,000 votes later:
At the suggestion of animateclay, I looked at the HTML of the graph. There's a max-width:300px CSS declaration on the .ans_bargraph elements (the green bars) that's overriding the accurately sized percentage-based width declarations: Ron Paul's bar was at 100%, and Romney's was at 49% width when I checked, but RP's 100%-wide bar was being capped at 300px...which just so happened to look exactly like 50% in a 600px wide chart.
So, in short, at best, (ignorance before malice, of course!) no one tested their chart code ahead of time with any good data sets. Disappointing because the consequence is so deceptive.

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!
Fair story about the neglect of Ron Paul after the Iowa Straw Poll. Doug Wead however raises an interesting option to say the least when asked about Ron Pauls age. His quote is in the last paragraph. Story:
