Ron Paul Headed Back to Iowa and New Hampshire
Paul to visit both early states this weekend
August 24, 2011 11:56 AM Eastern Daylight Time
LAKE JACKSON, Texas--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Today, the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign released a schedule of campaign stops for this weekend. Paul will visit both New Hampshire and Iowa, marking his first visit back to the Hawkeye State since his historic showing at the Ames Straw Poll.
They share the same position on most issues, are both libertarian, so it should be interesting at least, possibly even instructive, for us Paul supporters to keep an eye on Gary Johnson.
Here is a good story on a recent Johnson appearance in New Hampshire, complete with photo collection and videos.

'They're setting the stage for violence in this country'
Ron Paul spoke at a campaign event in Concord, New Hampshire Thursday. He talked about the lack of media coverage of his campaign, and how he would make government smaller. (Aug. 19)
"Paul, who met with the Monitor editorial board yesterday, speaks with a candor unheard of in a presidential candidate. But unlike so many of his Republican rivals in the primary, he doesn't speak meanly and he doesn't personalize disagreements. Such qualities make him a delight to be around, but they won't make him president, nor - if elected - would Paul be able to govern. His fidelity to his many deeply held principles allow him to build coalitions with people who share his beliefs but forbid him from making the compromises that are necessary to achieve a majority."
Why was New Hampshire such a disappointment in 2008?
From Austin, Texas's KXAN News (of NBC).
I saw the video during the 6 PM news cast and I was shocked because they never gave any time for him. This week and last week it was all about Rick Perry. This is the most I've ever seen on the local Austin news talking about Ron Paul. Awesome!
New DHS rules cancel deportations
The Homeland Security Department said Thursday it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria such as attending school, having family in the military or are primarily responsible for other family members’ care.
The move, announced in letters to Congress, won immediate praise from Hispanic activists and Democrats who had chided President Obama for months for the pace of deportations and had argued he had authority to exempt broad swaths of illegal immigrants from deportation.
