Three of Mitt Romney’s advisers went to the White House at least a dozen times in 2009 to consult on the former Massachusetts governor’s health care plan that President Obama used as a model for his initiative -- now a federal law that all the Republican presidential candidates want to repeal.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Tuesday he was "not in a position to comment on specific meetings." But in a remark that won't help Romney in his pursuit for the 2012 Republican nomination, Earnest repeated that Obama took cues from the Massachusetts legislation.

Surgeons won't have to wait to make sure a heart has stopped beating before harvesting organs under new guidelines

Surgeons retrieving organs to be transplanted just after a patient's heart has stopped beating will no longer have to wait to make sure it doesn't start up again if new proposals are adopted.

At present when doctors are retrieving organs they have to wait at least two minutes to ensure it doesn't spontaneously start again.

Today's messed up medical system is a result of 40 years of government interference in the process. Regulations, inflation, tax laws, federal mandates to provide care through corporate-run HMOs, interference in providing insurance, massive subsidies and licensing have all played a negative role in the delivery of medical care in the United States.

Hospitals and Doctors don’t advertise their prices and it’s the norm. Is there something wrong with that?

Back in the 6th grade in 1973, we had a guy come to our class from Soviet Russia. He was a violinist and had escaped and got asylum. Our teach asked us all, "Please ask 'Surrgay' your questions". The number one question we asked again and again was, "Why did you come here?"
