Where to get started.

Good simple article on where to start and how to start. It is not too late. If you want Ron Paul to get the nomination, here is your starting point.

Gathering the Grassroots in Iowa

I've got a few more meet-ups scheduled in Iowa to sync up the grassroots supporters with the official campaign. The effort is to find precinct leaders to speak on behalf of Ron Paul at the local caucuses and to organize phone banking for voter identification (and then door-to-door resource spreading...i.e. lawn signs).

Go on facebook and tell your friends in Iowa, that if they haven't gone to a meet-up yet they should attend one of these. We can give them direction for the next 3 months on how to best help out the campaign.

My efforts in Iowa will be recorded in my next entry of "The Ron Paul Road Warrior": http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/the-tour-to-end-the-w...

The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy to Take Back the Republican Party and then America at the Ballot Box

The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy, outlined below, entails a tried-and-true, peaceful, Constitutional, ballot box solution to our present political predicament. The procedures and system for this solution have been in existence for decades. Obama used them.

I went to my local state GOP grassroots recruiting/training event today.

I started the process of getting involved in my local scene today. Lacking sleep due to work last evening, I carefully ventured into a wonderland of white hair and power brokers. There is definitely a huge age range that is missing from the GOP. At 35, I was probably the youngest person there. I would guess that 2% of the crowd was new people. The rest were GOP seasoned seniors that attended anyway. I heard a few guys talking about their paid Washington Lobbyist jobs etc etc. Anyway, after an abbreviated seminar I now know what I need to do and who to talk to locally to get in on my precinct.
