Details of the U.S. government’s controversial rendition programme in which terrorist suspects were transported around the world have been exposed in court documents.

Revelations about the CIA flights, which resulted in the alleged torture of suspects in prisons outside America, and the extraordinary costs involved have come to the surface after one of the companies involved sued another over fees paid.
