My 9-9-9 personal pLan pizza is to contribute $99.90 to the campaign every day from tonight (seen above) to September 30th. That'll be just shy of $700 over 7 days.
Jon Stewart has said Ron Paul hasn't been given his fair share of coverage by the media. On Monday he is hosting the GOP candidate on 'The Daily Show.' And there is lots to talk about.
Jon Stewart has accused the media of unfairly ignoring GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul – and now the host of "The Daily Show” is putting his airtime where his mouth is. The inevitable meet-up is occurring: Stewart will host Rep. Paul on his Monday show.
I have a request for the group. I'm currently/still working in Afghanistan and need to find someone who would be willing to copy the debates onto dvd and mail them to me.
Our internet is less than dial-up speed most days and sometimes gets knocked out. Downloading youtube videos or large emails is next to impossible.
There are quite a few people here who are starving for information other than snippets on the internet or the european news channels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So I saw last night in the debate, when asked about a VP Ron deferred. He basically said, I'm polling third and when I eventually move into the top 2 I will choose a VP. From his answer, seems to me that the strategy is to slowly grow momentum. I think the campaign is holding their cards tight, waiting to play them.

When Republican House Speaker John Boehner (Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (Va.) threaten the Fed if it tries to help the economy with monetary policy, their low-concept imitation of Ron Paul is economically ignorant and historically unprecedented. When Republican candidate Rick Perry threatens the Fed with charges of treason and comes close to threatening violence if the Fed chairman visits Texas, his polyester impersonation of Paul makes him intellectually and morally unfit for the presidency.
Sept. 30th is the end of another quarter for calculating donations. Once again Ron Pauls money is going to be compared to the other two top tier candadites. He needs another 1.5 million by then to be in the ball park to compete.
I just went ahead and gave another $100 to the campaign. Please spread the word to those that can afford to give ASAP.
Operation Fast and Furious hasn’t come up during a debate yet, nor has reform of the Justice Department. Many of the candidates have not even commented on Fast and Furious. After an extensive search, The Daily Caller only found two candidates who have: Congressman Ron Paul and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Fielding questions from reporters Wednesday at a press breakfast sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor, GOP presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul talked at length about his favorite subjects: economic freedom, the failure of the Federal Reserve and the follies of foreign intervention.
It was a familiar spiel to everyone in the room that morning — journalists whose e-mail inboxes are no strangers to Paul’s devoted supporters. But that itself is perhaps a measure of the success of Paul’s decades-long campaign against big government.

In spite of Democratic attacks on his exchange last debate with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer over whether an uninsured man should be left to die, Paul continues to show his appeal to the tea party base.
Ron Paul needs to be more assertive and go back to main issues after answering minor questions quicklySubmitted by J-White on Fri, 09/23/2011 - 00:27
Ron Paul is doing quite good, but I would like him to make better use of the little time he is getting. He should answer the minor questions in a sentence or two and link it to other major issues and go back to talking on them - wars, spending, debt, FED, etc.
He should also question the moderators why he was not asked a particular question on any major issue, when he is ignored. And he should take the time to answer that question.
Be sure to pray for Ron Paul tonight.
Pray that he is able to rest before the debate, and that he is fully prepared for everything that comes his way.
Pray that Dr. Paul will not become flustered, regardless of the absurdity of the eventual false accusations.
Pray that he will be strong in his speech and that it is passionate and bold.
Pray that there is a fire in his bones that will not be quenched by the liars that surround him.
Pray that he is filled with wisdom; that his convictions are intelligently and coherently communicated.
They insist on ignoring the obvious and continuing with the same game plan…
LAKE JACKSON, Texas– Today, Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton responded to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s announcement of new actions meant to spur the U.S. economy. See statement below.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul stands out in the Republican 2012 presidential primary field for his strict libertarian politics, his opposition to an interventionist foreign policy and his steadfast commitment to educating the public about what he sees as the dangerous policies of a central bank and the U.S. dollar not being tied to the price of gold.

My gut feeling is that Ron is not making inroads with Republican voters. I'm not blaming Ron or his campaign staff. Most Republicans, especially the older generation, simply will not support someone who isn't an enthusiastic warmonger. They will not support someone who doesn't thirst for Muslim blood. They will not support someone who won't put Israel's interests above those of the American people.
