The Ticker is Up - End Of The Third Quarter PUSH
The Ron Paul 2012 Campaign has put up a ticker for the end of the quarter PUSH
You and I have only a few more days to make sure we send the establishment a clear message.
The truth is, September 30 is a CRITICAL day for my campaign.
It's the end of the current fundraising period, and the results from each candidate will be reported on and examined by the media, voters and other potential donors and supporters.
I can't stress how important it is that you and I have a great showing - just as we did last filing period.
But in order to do that, we're going to need to raise an additional $1.5 million before September 30.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul (R) on Wednesday said The Daily Show host Jon Stewart helped boost media coverage of his presidential candidacy.
“I think that another person that kind of made my case was Jon Stewart,” he told reporters at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor. “How could anything be more dramatic than what Jon Stewart did?”
After Paul came in second place in the Ames Straw Poll in Iowa, Stewart noted he had not received the media attention he deserved.

Ron Paul is launching a three-week, $1 million ad buy on Thursday, the biggest so far of his presidential campaign, POLITICO has learned.
The buy will include three different spots on national cable and local broadcast in the early-voting states. Paul’s campaign believes the ads will boost its chances of getting into the first tier of GOP hopefuls while his polling remains strong and the other candidates are not yet on the air.
I just posted a comment on the abc website that did a story on Perry's new campaign vomit.... I mean Video.
All I said was,
"This video makes me vote AGAINST Obama instead of FOR Perry.
Ron Paul 2012: The only one you can vote for.
(Capitalization is for effect. I'm not yelling;)"
I refreshed my browser saw that it was posted. Then I went back 15 min. later and it was gone.
Can't prove anything but it's pretty shady to me.
Scientists have recently discovered what they now call as the Ron Paul Effect on the Mainstream Media. They assert -
Any position that Ron Paul gets in an Internet or Straw poll immediately becomes invisible for the media.
Corollary 1 - If Ron Paul ties for the first place, the other candidate is said to be the winner, while the candidate who gets 3rd place is reported in articles, but the 2nd place is not mentioned.
"I have one goal in life politically, and the goal is to make this a better country." He said he also wants to "change economic policy, change our foreign policy, change the monetary policy, and explain to people why we have booms and busts."
The only thing I'd change is 'could' to 'IS & WILL continue to'!
I sauced up the headline a little, hope EricHoffer doesn't mind...
We're doing a one-day promo to get the word out.

Republican presidential candidate, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, is gaining momentum in the race for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.
Over the weekend, Congressman Paul won the California Straw poll and raised more than $1,000,000 on Saturday.
“He’s very, very well-informed on the issues,” Ron Paul supporter Don Zimmerman said. “People have trouble debating him on the issues so they just call him a ‘kook’ and dismiss him.”
Paul ran unsuccessfully for the GOP nomination in 2008, but his supporters say things are different now for the longtime Congressman.
“This time around, Ron Paul has some more name identification of course and some of his supporters have more political experience,” Zimmerman said. “He just doesn’t fit anywhere. He’s an enigma to the political process. They don’t know what to do with Ron Paul. You know he really speaks from the heart.”
Paul won the California Straw Poll over the weekend, taking almost 45 percent of the 833 votes cast. Governor Rick Perry finished in second place with 30 percent of the vote.
Los Angeles — Presidential candidate Texas Rep. Ron Paul – followed by cheering crowds at the California State GOP convention today — said the media “twisted” the Tea Party reaction at the last presidential debate, and argued that the conservative position on health care is both Constitutionally sound and ”compassionate.”
We asked Paul after his speech to the Lincoln Club whether health care or welfare are appropriate expenditures of the federal government. “Follow the Constititution,” he said repeatedly.
I hear lots of talk about how the early primaries might play out. Of course, I understand, pundits discount Ron Paul in all of them. (except maybe Iowa) But I've yet to hear of anything about a strategy for securing the nomination. Is this simply going to be a shotgun approach and let's just hope we "do our best" in each state as it comes up, or is there some actual strategy about how it might be possible to win this or that early primary?
Vote "No" in Bill O'Reilly's poll asking if the presidential race is a two person race between Perry and Romney!
Hurry up, we are loosing!!
The Republican field hasn’t significantly shifted in terms of rankings placement since our last edition, which belies the fact that individual percentages for candidates continue to shift dramatically. What can be said with a reasonable amount of certainty is that there is no clear and current GOP frontrunner in Iowa.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who recognizes that current U.S. foreign policy endangers Israel. End government foreign aid and you empower Israel to govern itself. Why are supposed "pro-Israel" candidates in favor of giving 3-4 times more aid to Israel's Arab enemies?
