As Long As Someone BESIDES Ron Paul Wins A Straw Poll

I was watching the all amazing FAIR AND BALANCED fox news and it doesn't shock me AT ALL anymore as to how biased this so called news network really is.

I love how they state that the msm isn't allowing Ron Paul to SURGE from his straw poll wins unlike cain and the others.

Does fox really think that WE believe that THEY are not the msm? Does fox really think that THEY are actually fair and balanced or are ALL the reporters that crooked as human beings and will do or say ANYTHING just to collect a paycheck?

How was bachmanns straw poll win different from rons?

Santorum the loser!

How can a person who loses his senate seat in a landslide election to a democrat in a state where rep. Have dominated, expect to compete in a 50 state election! He is a neo-con that is nothing but a puppet.
Since 1995, Rick Santorum has voted with the majority Republicans 92.7% of the time, voted with the majority of Democrats 39.9% of the time, and missed 1.9% of the votes.this is not a free thinking man just another establishment politician.
The next time that jackass attacks Dr. Paul, the good Dr might have to mention this point!

Rick Santorum hits Ron Paul over al-Awlaki

"This is the time to call on Congress and the President to amend the Immigration and Naturalization Act to provide for a renunciation of citizenship by action," he said.

So now he supports the idea that people should automatically lose citizenship and rights. Nice.

Rick Santorum made $239K from Fox News

I’m fairly certain that this is not illegal (nor do I really care because Santorum is a non-issue) because he received this money before he was a candidate, but how many candidates or potential candidates have been on Fox’s payroll? $239K isn’t all that much (to our aristocracy at least – for us serfs that’s the going rate to eat a spoonful of nuclear waste or order from Godfathers Pizza or something gross like that – but I digress :) compared to Palin’s $1 million reported contract.

Rick Santorum?

Can someone please post specifics on Rick Santorum. I have a friend who thinks this guy is great and I know he's not after viewing the debates.

Did anyone do a comparison chart on the issues for the candidates?

Good move by the campaign

On the day of an over politicized straw poll, the Ron Paul presidential campaign made the conscience decision to play a smaller role in the Florida Straw Poll, and it worked perfectly.

Perry lost, and the alleged "third place candidate" Bachmann, was in dead last with 1.2%.

On Second thought

As long as Santorum is hammering Perry, let's keep him around a little longer.

Did you see Perry's face while Santorum was skewering him on immigration?

Of course, Santorum repeatedly violates the "no asshole" rule, so he's no threat of gaining more voters, but I guess he's good for something.

Santorum Right About One Thing: Predicts Ron Paul to Win Florida Straw Poll

Check out the closing comments on this Politico interview!

Politico: What do you think we should expect of your finish at the straw poll on Saturday?

Santorum: Oh, uh...(shuffle, shake head, grimace) I suspect that Ron Paul is going to finish first because...ha!... Ron Paul always finishes first in these types of straw polls!

MWC News: "We have met the enemy, and he is us."

Some of us were brought into political adulthood reading Walt Kelly’s masterful creation, Pogo, the lovable character living in the Okefenokee Swamp of Georgia. From dialogue used in that comic strip, many were the quotes that attained temporary or even permanent fame, but one topped them all: “We have met the enemy and he is us.” And Kelly’s reference point was not only the environment but his belief that we are… all of us, responsible for our myriad pollution: public, private and political.

My Letter to the Editor was Published

I wrote a letter to the Editor that was published this morning. Could use some comments from the readers of the Daily Paul.

http://www.aikenstandard.com/Letters/0916-Freland-Letter-Rand

LETTER: Ron Paul is right
In the last debate, Rick Santorum attacked Congressman Ron Paul by saying he claimed Americans invited the attacks on 9/11. When Rudy Giuliani made the same accusation in 2007, Paul responded with a reading list including the 9/11 Commission Report and "Blowback" by Chalmers Johnson. Even our government concludes that bin Ladin's attacks on America were motivated primarily by the presence of American bases in Saudi Arabia and interventionism in Iraq, leading to the deaths of 500,000 children (Madeleine Albright admitted this in 1996). Ron Paul is pointing out this fact. He is a doctor trying to cure a disease, not using Band-Aids on gunshot wounds. Denying truth is not only unreasonable, but also un-American.

Our current foreign policy of bombing countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia makes us less safe and we can't afford it. America has spent $10 trillion in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hypothetically speaking, what if we spend 10 percent of that on necessities here in America? That's $1 trillion. Paul's foreign policy makes sense. Disagree? Ask who receives the most money from active-duty military personnel. Air Force Veteran Ron Paul tops the list. He gets more than all the other candidates combined and even more than the commander-in-chief Barack Obama. Santorum's support? $250. 0.0068 percent of the good doctor.

Thanks everyone,
John

I was on the Sean Hannity Show today. I called out Santorum on his foreign policy.

I called to say I used to agree with Santorum's position 5 or 6 years ago but that I now agree with Ron Paul on the cause of terrorism.. I told Hannity the terrorist do not hate us, they hate our government. They hate us because of people like Santorum, Bill Clinton, George Bush and Obama. I told him the last four presidents have killed over 2 million people and asked him if he thought this would cause animosity towards us.

I said that Bin Ladin told us in 1996 that they attacked the Trade Center because we are occupying their lands and that we should listen to why our enemy says they attack us or we will be keep fighting endless wars.

Hannity tells me the government is we the people.. I told him no it's not. The government doesn't represent us anymore. They represent the military industrial complex. He then goes on a diatribe of talking points about evil and freedom etc etc... I make another point about the billions made from war.
