My fellow Paulominos,
Mr. Cain is confusing the American people by telling us his 9-9-9 plan will lower personal income taxes by broadening the federal tax income base but it eliminates funding for Social Security and Medicare! Here's how:
The 15.3% payroll tax refers to that combined portion of SS (social security) and medicare tax that employers and employees each pay to the government. The breakdown is as follows:
2010 Employer SS Contribution - 6.2%
2010 Employer Medicare Contribution - 1.45%
2010 Employee SS Contribution - 6.2%
While in the past Canada has exercised a more independent foreign policy, in many ways, it has now succumbed to the imperialistic aspirations of the U.S. and NATO. The war in Afghanistan and the continued bombing in Libya have demonstrated Canada’s willingness to use military force to advance foreign policy. It appears as if they have also turned back the clock by further embracing the monarchy and renewing its strategic partnership with Britain and the Commonwealth at large.

During the protest in San Antonio at the Federal Reserve on Sunday, a man we initially identified as a police officer admitted that the Fed is private, not a federal agency.

Has anyone heard of the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme?
Legislated in 2002 but only recently have become aware of its details. This is a 2008 article that summarizes it.

Why America Needs to Dismantle Its Security Apparatus: Real Security begins with Creating a Policy of PeaceSubmitted by Lars on Wed, 09/21/2011 - 00:53
(PrisonPlanet) – The best way for America to become more secure may well be to dismantle its vast security apparatus.
This means eliminating the Department of Homeland Security, closing down our 800 military bases on foreign soil, and slashing armaments spending by the War Department, the one euphemistically called the Department of Defense but which is, in fact, the spearhead of today’s naked American aggression in six countries.
It is important to keep in mind that the move towards a North American security perimeter is being done without congressional or parliamentary approval. There is no reason to trust that our governments will strike any kind of balance between security and freedom. That is why it is imperative that we demand more transparency and input. With a joint action plan expected to be released soon, it is my hope that Canadians and Americans will reject any perimeter security deal that reduces privacy rights and further puts our sovereignty at risk.
In my infrequent travels, I have noted that TSA agents routinely pass from the outside/ticketing area to the 'sterile' gate area without enduring the standard screening/groping. I have noted this to other travelers, and they have responded with puzzled looks and comments such as ", well, it's the TSA...if you can't trust them, who can you trust?" I ask them: who watches the watchers?
The false 'security theater' of the TSA is worse than no security at all.
Ron Paul's shot to get a little payback on Trump. It's supposedly against the law to use gold as currency.

(Who will be next to demand pat downs?...)
The NFL wants all fans patted down from the ankles up this season to improve fan safety.
Previously, security guards only patted down fans from the waist up before gaining entry to NFL stadiums. Under the new "enhanced" pat-down procedures, the NFL wants all 32 clubs to search fans from ankles to the knees as well as the waist up.
The stricter security approach impacts the 16.6 million fans expected to attend live regular season NFL games this season.
I came across this Yahoo article this morning about Galveston, TX employees opting out of social security and how it has turned out to be a good move for them. When they mention two presidential candidates calling for changes in the program, I just thought for sure Dr. Paul's name was going to be mentioned - especially since Galveston is in his district!
Created by my good friends Sean Wheeler and Shelli Crouse. Great Job you guys!! This is a superb video!
On the afternoon on September 11, I was minding my own business walking in the Boston Common enjoying the day with my family. A Boston Globe reporter came to me and asked me if I would like to give him a quote about today's heightened security.
The reporter notified me on how unattended bag that was found ten minutes ago and it was deemed to be no threat by the police. So this is what I said …
….Larry Toth, 35, of Watertown, MA said he believes the heightened measures enacted since 9/11 threaten personal freedoms. “We are slowly coming to a police state,’’ Toth said. “When you go to a subway station they are checking everyone, I think better security measures can be performed without taking away our liberties.’’….
I just wanted you all to know out of all the people a reported could have caught for a quote, he had to pick a Ron Paul supporter!

We should have listen to congressman Ron Paul.
