Have evangelical Christians in your family been wary of supporting Ron Paul?
I think THIS interview from the fairly mainstream Christianity Today might help win them over.
Here's what i can find so far. Feel free to add to the list ;-)

Why have a straw poll in Texas without the GOP?
This election cycle is critical to the survival of limited government and the constitution. With this in mind we Texans need to bring a voice of truth and legitimacy to this election. Unfortunately the GOP decided that it could not financially support a straw poll this year since the first straw poll was held at a loss also the party sited a lack of interest. It came as no surprise that the GOP would do such a thing after all the dirty tricks they pulled at the 2007 straw poll (see Tyranny at the Texas Straw Poll video below)
EDIT: See below for proof of cheating.
EDIT2: Statements from people who were there.
These results don't look good to me. According to the Washington Post, 3,500 delegates were chosen to attend by county chairs, with another 1,500 apparently attending by the random lottery method. If those totals are inaccurate, please let me know.
Florida GOP Debate goers -
You may not want to wear or carry any RP stuff. If you do, hide it.
Seems the Florida GOP has stooped to complete desperation and is screening people:
You might even want to go stealth (and gag all night) and wear a Romney or Perry shirt instead.
Take a button up shirt/blouse/dress, tie, slacks, and suit jacket as well, in case they use T-shirts as a disqualification for entry.
Be prepared to counter whatever reason they may pull out of their you know whats.
Republican presidential candidate, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, is gaining momentum in the race for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.
Over the weekend, Congressman Paul won the California Straw poll and raised more than $1,000,000 on Saturday.
“He’s very, very well-informed on the issues,” Ron Paul supporter Don Zimmerman said. “People have trouble debating him on the issues so they just call him a ‘kook’ and dismiss him.”
Paul ran unsuccessfully for the GOP nomination in 2008, but his supporters say things are different now for the longtime Congressman.
“This time around, Ron Paul has some more name identification of course and some of his supporters have more political experience,” Zimmerman said. “He just doesn’t fit anywhere. He’s an enigma to the political process. They don’t know what to do with Ron Paul. You know he really speaks from the heart.”
Paul won the California Straw Poll over the weekend, taking almost 45 percent of the 833 votes cast. Governor Rick Perry finished in second place with 30 percent of the vote.
According to the county GOP Chair. Ron Paul won the Cleveland County, OK straw poll taken two weekends ago at the county fair.
Ron Paul 39.5%
Rick Perry 29.5%
Herman Cain 15%
Rick Santorum 8%
Mitt Romney 5%
Michelle Bachmann 5%
There is another straw poll going on at the OK State Fair as we speak (voting ends Friday). Insiders say Perry has the upper hand at this moment.
Let's get Dr. Paul back to #1 in Townhall.com's Presidential Straw Poll for September.

Having attended this year's convention, I would argue that it was Paul who offered the GOP a genuine alternative. In a convention address to the Republican Liberty Caucus, Paul offered a novel message that could reach across partisan lines. Besides putting forth his typical, limited government message on domestic policy, the Texas Congressman said that he can unite all political stripes on the issue of getting the United States out of wars which he believes have no Constitutional grounding.
I was just told that there is going to be a straw poll at the Oklahoma State Fair tomorrow in the Modern Living Building. Enter building from the SW doors and look for the Republican Booth to the left. Starts are 10am and closes at 10 pm.
Does anyone in OKC even know about this!??!? Please pass it along!
We do not need the Party establishment to host a Straw Poll.
Conservative political training organizations like Morton Blackwell’s Leadership Institute have long trained activists about the importance of straw polls, how to organize them, and how to win them – precisely because they help build campaign momentum, and are a true measure of grassroots support and campaign organization. The GOP establishment only started to ignore them when Paul came along.
I am a relatively new Ron Paul supporter and have been following his campaign closely for the past several months. The more I follow the Good Dr., the more I see the blatant attempts of the media and the higher agendas they serve to outright sabotage this patriot's campaign in any way possible.

Ron Paul Delegates Turned Away from Straw Poll?
The vote was supposed to be until 1 or 2 pm, but GOP security prevented registered Delegates from entering the building who were wearing Ron Paul signs at 10am.
I was standing over by the Granny warriors when 2 delegates approached me and asked me to help them get into the convention center.
CNN and the Tea Party Express held their own straw polls at three viewing locations and Florida, i.e. Phoenix, Arizona; Cincinnati, Ohio; Portsmouth, Virginia, and Florida. Both before and after straw polls were held.
