TRENDING: Conservative leader discounts Paul win
(CNN) - The president of the Family Research Council characterized Rep. Ron Paul's weekend win in the Values Voter Summit straw poll as "an outlier."
Tony Perkins, who heads the social conservative group, said the Republican presidential candidate influenced the results by busing supporters to the event, proving his 37% support is not reflective of social conservative backing nationally.
This is a great speech...
Its greatness transcends creed. It's great because this makes sense regardless of what your religious orientation is -- or isn't.
Its great because its something Ron Paul really believes -- It hasn't been "focused-grouped" or "psy-oped".
And yet the Fox News' reporter in the following video clip seemed perplexed that such a "live and let live" message could be tolerated, much less accepted....
This is the gem to post all over the web.

The Awakening of a Generation: Ron Paul 2012
On Saturday, in proving that the Ron Paul political organization is working better than ever, Paul won the iconic Values Voters Straw Poll with a whopping 37% of the total 1,983 ballots cast.
Herman Cain, who is experiencing a modest bump in popularity as values voters shuffle away from Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, placed a distant second with 23% of the votes. Paul was also top choice among attendees for the Vice President straw poll, with Bachmann coming in close second.

I do not usually post on Daily Paul, I mostly just post on Ron Paul Forums, but I am looking for help in getting myself, as well as 5 other of my friends to the Values Voter Summit in a couple weeks in DC. I am a photographer for the movement, and will be taking photos of the event for future use by the grassroots. You can see my photos at http://flickr.com/gageskidmore
But, as with most things, money is required to be able to accomplish this goal...so I have set up a ChipIn that will be used specifically for transportation and lodging.
