Is The War On Terror A Hoax?

This article from Paul Craig Roberts nails it.

....Think for a minute how easy terrorism would be in the US if there were any terrorists. Would an Al Qaeda terrorist from the organization that allegedly pulled off 9/11--the most humiliating defeat ever suffered by a Western power, much less “the world’s only superpower”--still in the face of all the screening be trying to hijack an airliner or to blow one up?

"If it's not about terrorism, what IS it about?"

My influential neocon Tea Party friend asked me this. In 2008, he voted for Ron Paul in the primaries, but has since been turned completely against him by the "leaders" of the controlled opposition over at Fox News. He favors Bachmann now and vehemently opposes Ron Paul.

I managed to get his attention by talking about the Project for a New American Century, which he had not heard about. I said that these powerful leaders had an agenda to attack all the countries we are attacking, back in the 1990's. After 9-11, they merely inserted the word "terrorism" in their manifestos.

Congressmen Ron Paul . Right again

BAGHDAD – An anti-American cleric is urging his followers to stop attacking U.S. troops in Iraq so that their withdrawal from the country isn't slowed down, a call meant to ramp up pressure on Baghdad's political leaders who are considering asking some American forces to stay.
In a statement posted on his website, Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr told his militias to halt attacks against U.S. forces till the withdrawal is finished at the end of the year as required under a security agreement between Washington and Baghdad.

Great Buchanan article mocks the stupidity of US foreign policy

NOT SINCE PEARL HARBOR, 60 years before, had we been as united as in that September after Islamic terrorists brought down the twin towers. The nation stood behind the president in his resolve to exact retribution on the men who had done this, and those who abetted the mass murder of 3,000 innocents. And George W. Bush rose to the occasion.

9/11 and the War on Terror: Polls Show What People Think 10 Years Later

Six in ten Americans believe that that the United States weakened its economy by overspending in its responses to the 9/11 attacks. In particular, respondents felt this was especially true of the U.S. mission in Iraq. Two out of three Americans perceive that over the decade since 9/11, U.S. power and influence in the world has declined. This view is highly correlated with the belief that the United States overspent in its post-9/11 response efforts – the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

FBI organizes almost all terror plots in the US

The Informants

For Mother Jones, Trevor Aaronson writes: “The FBI has built a massive network of spies to prevent another domestic attack. But are they busting terrorist plots-or leading them?” Here is an excerpt from his article, “The Informants”:
