What Conservatives Should Learn From the Assassination of Awlaki

The killing of Awlaki, an American, should give pause to anyone who cares about their liberty. But I’m mainly concerned with the conservatives here. Reason? Because what the conservatives supported during the Bush administration was consummated today: assassination of an American, without due process, or respect for the Anglo-Saxon tradition of trial before conviction.

WI: No right to eat or consume food

This Dane County Judge needs to be removed from this country, not just the bench! How DARE he make this kind of ruling? Was DATCP holding a gun to his head? I mean, REALLY?

The original judgement can be seen here. To quote from the main points:

1) no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to own and use a dairy cow or a dairy herd;

2) no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to consume the milk from their own cow;

3) no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to board their cow at the farm of a farmer;

Tennessee and National Action Alert!

Smart meters being installed on homes without consent. In the middle of the Summer without notification the local electric company installed a "smart meter" on our home. We have owned the home for 8 years now and during the Summer months never paid more than $165.00-220.00 for utilities (electric and water) due to conservation and the fact that even though it is a standard split foyer home both children have moved out, one to school and the other to work.

WSJ: Congress contemplates draconian punishment for Internet lies

Should Faking a Name on Facebook Be a Felony?

Imagine that President Obama could order the arrest of anyone who broke a promise on the Internet. So you could be jailed for lying about your age or weight on an Internet dating site. Or you could be sent to federal prison if your boss told you to work but you used the company's computer to check sports scores online. Imagine that Eric Holder's Justice Department urged Congress to raise penalties for violations, making them felonies allowing three years in jail for each broken promise. Fanciful, right?

Think again. Congress is now poised to grant the Obama administration's wishes in the name of "cybersecurity."

Free Trade = Tyranny And Genocide

Is the "Patriot Act" a Patriotic Act, or is it in fact the exact opposite?

Is the "War on Terror" a just war, or is it in reality the exact opposite.

A War of Terror rained down upon mostly innocents.

Was the "No Child Left Behind" program a sincere attempt to improve the education of our youth, or was it in fact the opposite. A diabolical policy to "Dumb them Down"?

The "War on Drugs"? I think you get the idea.

VIDEO: Cop tases mentally disbabled man even though man was complying with officer

Here is a cop tasing a mentally challenged man while the man was complying, had his hands raised and was not moving. When the video starts the cop already has his taser drawn. While the man is on the ground disabled, the cop tases him again.

A crowd assembles afterwards and starts yelling at the cop that the man is "mentally retarded."

Thank god this guy had the foresight to get this on film so there is little question as to what actually happened.
