Question about changing Party Affiliation in NY?

I am a New Yorker and have been trying to convince everyone I know to change party affiliation in NY to repub so they can vote for Ron Paul (or whomever they choose ;-) ). But I was looking to see if there was a way to change party online, to make it easier, and came across this info on the NY Vote website...

96-year-old Chattanooga resident denied voting ID

Make sure you have proper ID by calling your local bureau registration office. Thousands are denied voting without proper ID and laws change in different states.

Researchers Hack Voting Machine for $26

Campaigning for the 2012 presidential race has already begun, but what the candidates don't know is that come election day, hackers could be the ones whose votes have the biggest impact.

Researchers from the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois have developed a hack that, for about $26 and an 8th-grade science education, can remotely manipulate the electronic voting machines used by millions of voters all across the U.S.

Florida Voting Systems

For those who are Floridians, and for those interested, it'd be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the voting systems for a few minutes.

http://election.dos.state.fl.us/voting-systems/about.shtml

Let's just hope that these machines or their software haven't been tampered with.

otherwise our vote won't matter, and I wouldn't put it past the establishment to rig these machines against Ron Paul.

FYI: South Carolina counties weigh whether to hold GOP primary

So now all of a sudden they care about the taxpayer? And simply must save us the cost of voting?

If the "First in the South" primary is all of a sudden "unnecessary", why has the media focused on it so much (and have as long as I can remember in SC political life)? Are South Carolina counties totally broke? Why would voting be the first big expense on the books to go? I'm all for cutting taxes but why is it now, on this issue, they've decided to put their foot down? What's going on here?

Make Sure You Are Registered Republican if Your State Requires. Also, Become a Ron Paul Delegate

We need to get the word out that everyone must be registered Republican in their states to vote for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries. He must win the Republican nomination or it is over for Ron Paul! And some states require you to be registered well in advance (even months) of the primaries. So, it is important if you are not already a registered Republican to check with your state.

Also, please look in to becoming a delegate for Ron Paul in your district/state. http://www.dailypaul.com/174154/red-alert-we-need-ron-paul-d...

Getting the Voters Registered

Hey everyone,

I have an idea that I think will help our cause, if enough people can run with it. The best people to run with this are the meetup groups around America. If you have 20, 30, or 40 people I think you have the core to make this happen.

Is It A Crime To Rig A Straw Poll?

Since this isn't technically a legitimate election-style monitored activity, is there any real threat of uncovering fraud?

The reason why I ask is because, I've been listening to the NEO-CONS for many years now and I'm in tune with their language and their pre-staging of shaping the next talking points. I've heard this statement too many times recently "Whoever wins the Florida Straw Poll, will be the nominee". They usually don't go out and corner themselves unless it's a sure bet.

Ron Paul can't win unless you sort out election fraud.

People Listen!

I am from the UK, and I have watched your last two elections with interest.

Now I want to tell you something that WILL scare you.

Your elite do not want RON PAUL to win. No surprise there, eh?

Well you have a big threat, and I fear that you do not realise it. OK, so one thing I like about Americans is that you are very patriotic and positive thinking.

I am very optimistic about Ron Paul's prospects

Look I am very pro Ron´s ideas and that ofc is the most important thing here.

At the last election I was very hopeful into the end, but as I look at it now, Ron Paul or his ideas are so much more popular/influential now.

I think as I said back then is keep doing what you are doing, cause it is working. That said the morons that be, will use the media to ignore or if that does not work to attack Ron Paul.

Now anyone who has followed this knows this. Expect more exclusions, negativity etc. So since you know this all you need to do is hammer away and keep supporting this amazing man.

At some point, during every debate, Ron Paul needs to say.

...something like this.

"You know, we get together for these debates... and as republicans we generally all agree the kinds of things that need to be done with almost every issue that faces America.

My whole question is...

Will the other candidates on stage REALLY do the things they say they're going to do?? Or will they be like every other presidential and congressional candidate and give up on their principles and kowtow to the special interests who contribute to their campaigns??
