Comment: Ignorance is bliss (or dangerous?)
Ignorance is bliss (or dangerous?)
John Stewart made it sound like congress can do anything it pleases, as long as a majority of Americans agree with them. No mention of the limitations placed on the federal government by the Constitution. Is he really that ignorant with regard to the founding principals of this nation? I lost allot of respect for Mr. Stewart by watching this interview. All men are created equal means that "we have to help people". ??? The way that he said that leads me to believe that he meant Marxism. The applause that Mr. Stewart was getting in response to his comments gives me a heavy heart.
I believe the only reason that he mentioned Congressman Paul is because he always gets applause when he does it. He doesn't appear to have any real understanding of what Ron Paul stands for.
Corporate media strikes again.
