The New Enemy Du Jour

Yes I do remember, but I also remember a lot more.

When I was in the 6th grade (1979), we began a new segment in school called "current events."

At that time, the enemy du jour was Iran and Russia. As the 80's progressed, it shifted to Russia. At some point, for a short period, it was Panama (Noriega). In the late 80's, it was Japan.

In the 90's, a new one emerged: Osama bin Laden, Al Queda and the Taliban. Now we're back to Iraq and Afghanistan. When I started current events in '79 - Iraq & Afghanistan were the enemies of Iran and Russia, and therefore were our friends.

Sadam Hussein & OBL used to be on the CIA payroll.

Having an "enemy" is a mechanism of control. Be afraid, and do what "they" say. I suppose it takes time to figure these things out, and it is only after watching them progress with one's own eyes.

Let's not look at ourselves, and blame the Chinese for our problems now!

I don't know about you - but I am glad to see China being held accountable for the dangerous and toxic products they have innundated our marketplace with, over the years.

Really? Do we need to blame China? Are vaccines that cause more autism than lead paint the product of China? High fructose corn syrup? Cigarettes? Crack cocaine? The military industrial complex? The pharmaceutical industrial complex?

There are bigger fish to fry than lead paint, friend, and it has nothing to do with China.

Something is up, but it is not what you think.

The powers that be are holding China up before you to avert your attention from them.

All art is only done by the individual. The individual is all you ever have, and all schools only serve to classify their members as failures. E.H.
