The arrogance and stupidity of this marine is eye-popping. He seems to think it will be like 1861 with militia in gray uniforms.
Sorry. A civil war here, (and I pray it never, NEVER comes to that) will include acts of terror and violence on the families of government apparatchiks, police and military personnel JUST LIKE IN Afghanistan and Iraq. The operational effectiveness of the military will quickly dissolve with mass defections and sabotage.
It would be a terrible, terrible, violent time for EVERYONE. See: New Orleans for an example of the defections of police.
