Comment: I hate paying for public education...
I hate paying for public education...
We send our child to a private school because out of principle we could not hand over our precious kiddo to a bunch of reprobates.
Now that we are paying our taxes out of pocket and not using an escrow acct I can actually see the break down of how our money is divided up. We pay about $900 out of $1866.00 to the public schools in our state. So when people say that public education is free, I start seeing red mist. It is not free.
Perhaps, parents that send their kids to public school and are paying for more than the traditional items of crayons and paper will see that there are parents who don't even access the public school system that are being forced to pay for their kids. This is the real "community closet".
