in the OP titled, "Pathways To Relocalization", which was given in Santa Barbara. Maybe it's the same one you went to.

Part 1

He provides a great template to follow. I like how he draws examples from nature by observing how herd animals interact with the landscape by "moving, mobbing, and mowing." The landscape has a short disturbance, followed by a long period of rest. This allows the land to come back with a richer, more diverse biota.
