Such an overused term. Think of it this way: is it collectivist to say "some people within the Tea Party are racist"? Of course not, though it might be a loaded statement depending on the context. How about "the Tea Party is racist"? Yeah, that's a problem. The term "racist" is not collectivist, but characterized by particular things.
Likewise, the term "Zionist" is defined by particular things. Being Jewish does not, by any stretch of the imagination, make you a Zionist.
You seem inspired by your presuppositions on this subject. Perhaps you should examine why that is.
