How would he be selected? The Dems and Repubs are on the same team.
I disagree that he would hold more impacting power. Theoretically, the Speaker does hold more power but the role of the Pres has changed, and more importantly, him being Pres would be a lifetime of political impact for the better, knocking the office of the President to its Constitutional level. The Common Man would have won.
If Dr. Paul wins the Pres, over 50% of the electorate would believe in his message. Speaker is selected by 50% of the Establishment.
