Only if we participate

We have numerous supreme court cases demonstrated in earlier discussions of our right to travel freely in unregistered automobiles on public thoroughfares without state intervention whether via state vehicle registration or licensing. Register your vehicle with non state entity and get a non state license. Step out of the protection of the state and assert your constitutionally protected rights. The highways are not necessarily state owned. I know I pay the taxes for the land the state highway crosses on my property. I am not compensated for the use of my land the highway bisects on said property. I would say the highways are owned by the people or the public and not the state.
