Speciation is evolution. It

Speciation is evolution. It is a force that produces evolution along with others.

Think of evolution being a vehicle. Then think of Speciation being a two wheeler. There are three wheelers, four wheelers and even eighteen-wheelers, but they all are vehicles and they all get us from point A to point B albeit at different speeds and different ways.

Definition: Evolution (also known as biological, genetic or organic evolution) is the change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through successive generations.[1]

The change is inherited traits, not the addition. You shouldn't change definitions to suit your needs.
