BUSTED: FOX News Caught Switching Video to Deceive Viewers
News Type: Event

By Mr. Rogers.

A recent video circling You Tube provides yet the most recent example of deceptive journalism.

As FOX news broadcaster Bill Hemmer introduced the winner of the 2011 CPAC straw poll on the air he decided to play a clip of the CPAC announcement while playing up supposed poor support for Ron Paul that included nearly half the audience or more booing his victory.

The only problem was that instead of playing clips from the 2011 CPAC announcement, FOX played on air the 2010 announcement, a year Ron Paul also won, but where the audience was filled with Mitt Romney supporters who were clearly not pleased with Ron Paul’s victory.

Now we wait to see how Bill O’Reilly will play this off just as he mocked the accusations from Media Matters and mocked Ron Paul’s chances of winning in 2012. Laughing and sarcasm will only get you so far. Perhaps the real joke is in the FOX slogan “Fair and Balanced”.
