Kids these days need an old man that can run circles around them both physically and mentally. It is his youthful vigor that brings the kids to him. By him going so fast he sends out the perception that he has a lot to say(and boy does he :)In this ADHD world we live in one can watch a 10 minute RP video and feel like they have endured 2 years of economic academia. He doesnt waste much time and cuts straight to the point. The kids end up walking away and deliberating on so many issues.
They cant help but to thank him for cognitive nourishment. <-- That is why we all admire RP. Americans aren't dumbed down because we want to be, we just were not aware of other options.
I say keep the speed, he hasn't derailed in 40yrs and he motivates people to research what he says b/c so much of it is 'outlandish kooky stuff' that "it cant be true... can it?"
