4.1.3 - HISTORICAL TINCTURES:
The use of Cannabis by Western Medicine goes all the way back to the days of Galan (a writer of Medical Books) and the Roman Empire. However its use seems to have been very limited and applied only to minor medical uses.
However, all that would change in 1839, with the publication of an article "On The Preparations of the Indian Hemp, or Gunjah" by Dr. Walter O'Shaughnessy, who at the time was a young but already well know physician residing in India.
And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”
