I think Jon Stewart would agree.

[I sent this response to a friend, who seems impressed with my "wealth of knowledge" but is undecided about GOP presidential candidates and trusts me to respect our differences and not try to sway him.)

"In spite of my apparent wealth of knowledge, I am babbling idiot when compared to Congressman Ron Paul. he's been in this world only 15 years more than I, yet is:

An Obstetrician who has delivered over 4,000 babies.
A Doctor of Economics and a regular contributor to Fox Business and CNBC
Considered the foremost authority on Middle East Policy by the former Director of the Usama Bin Laden Unit, Central Intelligence Agency, Michael Scheurer.
Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Monetary Policy
Author of several best selling nonfiction books
Three time candidate for President
Father of several physicians, including one who is also a sitting US Senator
Admired and respected by such diverse notables as Congressman Barney Frank (Democrat, Massachusetts), Congressman Dennis Kucinich (Democrat, Ohio), Former Governor Sarah Palin (Republican, Alaska), Former Governor Jesse Ventura (Reform Party, Minnesota) (Jesse Ventura dedicated his most recent book to Ron Paul), Consumer Advocate and former three time presidential candidate Ralph Nader, Former congresswoman and Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney, former superior court judge and TV host Andrew Napolitano, former ABC News Correspondent and TV host John Stossell, MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan, former congressman and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, Pastor and former Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin and action star Chuck Norris.

No one else in national politics is admired and respected by such diverse group of famous and influential people.

I recently heard Ron Paul quote Samuel to answer a question regarding why the Bible supports limited government.
My gosh, I can't even get ANY Bible quote right, but he can do this "on the fly".
